The staff and teachers have a genuine love for children, they have very intentional learning goals and make it clear that spiritual growth is a top priority as they incorporate Christ and God into the curriculum each day. Our daughters teacher was phenomenal at meeting her academic needs and with regular communication we worked very closely to make sure the learning continued at home. She loves school, loves showing off what she has learned and she gets excited to see the staff members that greet her each day. HCA is a blessing to our whole family. They just throw work in front of students and except them to ACTUALLY learn and pass the class. We love PCCS for many reasons, but consistently is one of the main reasons we love it. They continue to pour God into our children in every way, whether it be in the curriculum, or in chapel, or just going to a teacher to talk to. We appreciate the dedication that goes into choosing the right teachers to teach our children and choosing the right admin to run the school on a daily basis. We have many choices of schools to send our children too but PCCS is the only school I can be involved on a daily basis if I choose with the parent partner positions and where my opinion is heard and not ignored. Draper offers 1 Gifted and Talented class and 2 advanced math classes of which I am in both. Every six weeks we have an assembly and Dr. Al Draper comes and hands out awards. They have a program called P.A.S and students who meet the standards get special privileges. They also started another thing where we get recess after lunch for 15 minutes. The kids are great. In the morning we have patriot power which is a little class in the morning. Overall I think Wylie ISD is the best for kids because the teachers take NO nonsense. I most certainly recommend Draper!
