I started to think maybe I was just too picky or had my hopes/expectations set too high. Nope! Jesse saved the day. And our carpet. The carpet smells and looks fresh as can be. See you next year. :D

Within days of closing, multiple contractors and tradespeople identified numerous obvious and accessible signs of prior water intrusion and repairs that were present at the time of inspection and were not reported, including: Extremely warped and deteriorated wood flooring and subfloor around a main-floor toilet consistent with prior leakage (was ongoing). Evidence of this leak was also obvious in furnace room area below. Clear evidence of water damage and drywall repair in the living room ceiling. Water damage to the wood floor directly below the living room ceiling leak (was ongoing). Mold discovered after opening ceiling areas tied to prior leaks Clear roof-related leak staining affecting the master bedroom wall and master bathroom. Inspector told us roof was good for another 5 years. Water damage all along basement baseboards Additionally, polybutylene plumbing with SharkBite fittings was present in multiple accessible basement areas and was not identified or flagged as a concern in the inspection report. Given the well-known risks associated with PB plumbing, this omission was particularly concerning. None of these issues were hidden behind finished walls, and they were later pointed out by multiple professionals as conditions that should have been observable during a standard home inspection. We relied on this report when purchasing the home and would have made very different decisions had these issues been disclosed. Since discovering these problems, I have attempted to contact C & H Inspections multiple times. Emails to the inspector are now bouncing, and we have also reached out through their website without receiving any response. Despite these huge issues missed, we have only been offered half our inspection fee back, but still have not seen anything from them. We trusted this inspection when making one of the largest purchases of our lives, and we are deeply disappointed in both the quality of the inspection and the lack of follow-up or accountability afterward. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend C & H Inspections.

We selected Scott's based upon a number of very positive Yelp reviews...and their availability to…read morecome do our upstairs carpets and stairs leading to our basement. Randy arrived on time on 18 APR and proceeded to get to work on our carpets. And yes, we vacuumed the entire house before his arrival with our 35-year-old Kirby upright vacuum. We had him focus on the high-traffic areas of two bedrooms and one office as well as a main hallway, entrance-way, living room, family room, and the stairs to the basement. He pretreated the entire carpet with a spray and then got to work. He brought out what he called the "heavy artillery" as our carpet hasn't been cleaned really well since well before the passing of our senior Italian Greyhounds several years ago. The heavy artillery was an electric-powered rotary steam scrubber. Think of a small floor polisher with steam and vacuum! That did the trick, and after finishing, he gave the carpet a good rake to lift the pile. Note that this heavy artillery is NOT gentle to the pile, but it does clean well! Oh, and he arrived with what seemed like a brand new van and a gasoline-engine-powered steam pressure generator. It looked factory fresh! Randy took care of the stairs by hand using an attachment and took his time getting it done right. Also, this rotary scrubber leaves a more than expected amount of water in the carpet...necessitating open windows for several days to properly dry the clean carpet. Word to the wise. All in all, Five Stars for great service, a technician who really knows his stuff, was pleasant to chat with, and did all this for us for $375. We're very pleased, and we'll have Scott's back again someday--and not wait as long.

I wish I had read some of the reviews before doing business with this company. I apologize for not…read moreposting a review sooner, I did all I could to allow them to make it right. I contacted them initially to come fix a fridge at our business. I allowed the tech in, and had to leave. He called to tell me the repair was done. When I came to check the work (the tech was not there at the time), the fridge was not working. So I texted. And called. Texted and called some more. Finally I got the guy back, he got the fridge to start cooling down, and I was told I could reach out with any issues. I paid my invoice, even adding a tip, because he told me he moved his schedule around to (finally) come fix the fridge. It wasn't until we actually got product for the fridge I noticed it wasn't working again. I texted the technician, who said he'd look into his schedule and work out a time... So I sent a follow up text...and call, and texted and called multiple times. None of which were returned. I finally called the dispatch line. They profusely apologized and said a manager would call me back in an hour. That, friends, was a week ago. Today I called and texted multiple times. Aside from an apology there has been no follow up by Summit Logistics or its tech. Read other reviews on this company, my story is nearly identical to several others who placed trust in them to stand by their work. I would NEVER recommend Summit Logistics.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give zero stars, I would. As you can see from my previous…read morereviews, I rarely give poor ones. In this case though, I need to warn the public based on my huge loss of funds. Eric came to my home to fix an old freezer I had. At first, he seemed wonderful. Helpful. He talked about how awesome the freezer was and how he would be able to fix it for me, and even install some additional components to make the freezer not get ice build up. He quoted me $466.33 to make the total repairs. He also stated that everything he was doing was GUARANTEED for 180 days. Once the repair was supposedly finished, he told me that the amount due was $515.35. I was upset, but paid in good faith. When I attempted to open the freezer to check his work, he told me not to, and said that the freezer would take 48 hours to "cool down completely". I was a bit worried, but once again, I trusted his word. After 48 hours, I checked the freezer and it was warm. Nothing was working. I contacted "Summit" to let them know and make sure that I could be scheduled for a follow up. All I wanted was the guarantee that he promised me. I contacted this company 8 times in 5 days and spoke to the office staff, but Eric would not return my calls. After trying to contact him 8 times, they blocked my number. I am under the impression that the "receptionist" is Erics spouse or friend, and that they are in this scam together. I can't be certain, but he hid behind her and never returned my consistent calls. Let me also note that never once was I mad or mean over the phone. All I wanted was the freezer fixed, or my money back, as stated in his "Guarantee". I have filed complaints with Google, Facebook, the Better Business Bureau, and with my Credit Union. I am currently disputing the charges. I even had another company come and look at the freezer to verify Erics Shotty work. I will also be taking him to small claims court, if needed.

I'll start with Jeff, who handles the Yelp messages. He was very professional, communicated well,…read moreand was understanding when I reached out with concerns. Unfortunately, the actual service was disappointing. I spoke with the receptionist beforehand and went into detail about everything I needed done. I was quoted the $189 special and knew stairs would cost extra, but once they arrived, there were additional charges for landings, walk-in closets, and other things I wasn't expecting. What I thought would be a reasonable increase ended up costing me about $300-$400 more than anticipated. My advice is to ask about every possible charge beforehand and get a firm price. The basement came out good, but the master bedroom closets left a lot to be desired. The stairs also ended up with a green discoloration afterward that I had to remove myself. To make matters worse, their van leaked oil in my driveway and on the street. I contacted Jeff and thought someone would come out to clean it. Instead, the same van returned and left another oil spot on the street. I now have two oil stains in the street and one in my driveway. My biggest advice: do not let their vehicle park in your driveway, and get a detailed price upfront that includes closets, landings, stairs, and anything else you want cleaned. Jeff was great to deal with, but based on the overall experience, I personally wouldn't recommend the company.
