We were late- she could have rescheduled - she was due on a plane for vacation and risked missing it? For a child with mild cold symptoms but a worried mom who told her " she is acting weird - did not even want her bubble bath and she looks kind of jaundiced " ....Dr Gina? could have rescheduled - we ran late and she was due on a plane to a (well deserved) Mexico vacation. But she KNEW my kids, KNEW Echo ..KNEW ? something was off . She met us in the lobby ....and took us back ....almost immediately she said "she is not jaundiced- but anemic but tan...its probably TRC ( I think thats what she said) - sometimes little girls get a blood disorder- we give them a transfusion and BAM - back to normal..we do not know why" - then she put her on the table and pressed her abdomen ...."be right back" we are freaking out at the idea our 2nd youngest needs A blood tranfusion.....she came back in and said " Dallas Childrens will be waiting on you- go to the front of the line" ......and I said " for the blood transfusion?" and she took my hands and said " no honey...I think she has leukemia" and the world stopped .....and I said "could you be wrong?" she said " I would love to be wrong " ....she was not .....and had she rescheduled us ? To make her vacation? It could have been the difference between our 23rd Christmas with my baby and not having 5 and every year since having that empty place.....Dr Gina? Is in my prayers EVERY day . She saved my daughters life and my family happiness ....I could not appreciate another person more . I say with honesty? You can trust her with your childs life. I trusted her with all 5 of mine....and they are all healthy , progressing , no tragic outcome, adults now ( she helped the other 4 too - just not as dramatically) . I revere this amazing woman.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Dr. Hahn is a horrible doctor. Primarily because she will not hear you out on any…read moreconcerns you may have and genuinely does not care about her patients. She cuts you off when talking and undermines every word you say. She makes you feel like a burden and she does not have any time for you. You're treated like a number instead of a patient. She said she would not treat my son because it was her first time to see him yet we have been taking our three children there since birth! We needed direction to find treatment for our child yet her only advice was to give him vitamins and put him in sports. We do both already yet she didn't seem to care or believe me when I told her this and gave no further advice. She only belittled the tests we paid good money for showing the treatment he needs and had run on my child and did not even want to look at the results I brought in. She told me the people who ran these tests could not have been real doctors and undermined them as well! For parents who are only trying to get help for our son she made me feel like we were bad parents for trying to get him treatment at all! Even if she didn't want to prescribe medication the least she could have done was talk to me about legitimate options and the next direction to go down. She cares nothing about her patients and it obviously shows. Not just that but we had an alternate concern about him getting ear aches. After checking his ears she said 'It's because that one is filled with wax' yet never cleaned them or gave any option for treatment on that concern and said nothing more about it after identifying the problem. I feel like I paid just to argue with her as she did not address any concerns we had! The other doctor that works there is Dr. Nguyen who is wonderful and caring. She takes the time to genuinely address any and all concerns you might have and never makes you feel like a burden. Unfortunately she is out for maternal leave now. Hopefully when she comes back she will find a new office to work for so that we can keep seeing her. Dr. Hahn could really take some notes from her as she is far and above a much better doctor. There are plenty of good pediatricians in Sugar Land. I assure you this is not one though. Save yourself the time, money, and heartache and find another.

Dr. Hahn Nguyen is an amazing doctor. She has been my child's only pediatrician since he was born…read more10 years ago and I would not want to take my child to any other doctor. She not only listens to her patients but she partners with the parents to determine the best course of action. My child has certain needs that require medication and she is thoughtful and careful about ensuring she is putting my child on the best course for treatment. When I call and leave a message with her office staff about concerns with his current dosage of medication or side effects she always calls me back to discuss the concerns. Most of these conversations happen after office hours when she could be spending time with her own family. She has listened to me cry about concerns and we work together to find a path forward for my child. She has even been at the airport calling insurance for a medication for my child to ensure he had what he needed before taking a family trip. She is also very honest in her medical advice and will provide lists of providers when needed. I have never worked with a doctor who cares about her patients like she does. I am thankful that before my child was born a friend recommended her and after extensive research we chose her. She provides exceptional care for my child and is a blessing to our family.

I was referred to Dr. Hanh by my OB as well. I was very excited to see great reviews about her…read moreonline. However, after 3 visits, I left very disappointed and upset. This doctor has way too many patients. Each time we waited for 30 minutes+ for a general SCHEDULED checkup. One time it was an hour and a half. As a new mom, I was very stressed. The staff there was run by a bunch of amateur young kids who did not know how to run her front desk. They were rude on the phone (see other reviews) and were not trained to speak professionally. They took my child's measurements and then told me to keep her naked because the doctor will be in shortly. She did not come by for another 55 minutes. In the meantime, you can hear her patients with their crying children in all of the rooms waiting too. When she finally arrives, her hair is a mess, she did not know us or my child or even seemed to care. We were another number in her book to bill. That was it. She gave us generic advice. She rushed through and moved onto the next room. She sent us down to have a blood sample taken and then tech at the hospital was also unprofessional, chewing her gum and had to prick both of my daughter's feet because she didn't wipe water off her counter and placed the sample on it... Disgusting and a terrible experience. I came home and immediately started looking for suggestions from other moms. Never again would I ever step into her office nor would I ever recommend this doctor, her office or her care. What a huge disappointment for a new mom! Don't go!

I've been taking my daughter there since she was a newborn. I love Dr. Nguyen and the staff are…read moresuper nice and friendly(medical assistants/nurse practitioner specifically..the girl at the front desk could be a little friendlier/professional). I've never had to wait more than 5 mins (usually its almost immediate) until they take us to the exam room BUT we sometimes end up waiting IN the room for quite a while...To me, that's ok because Dr. Nguyen will and DOES talk to you for an hour if needed to ease your concerns, educate you/provide information, give you instructions or answer all and any questions you might have. I have never felt rushed. Never. To me, that's worth waiting for as many doctors try to get you in and out and then you are left with questions that you forgot or didnt get answered. Also, their office has a COMPLETELY separate (as in a different entrance/door) waiting room for sick visits and for well visits. When calling with questions, calls are returned promptly either by the nurse or the dr herself. Dr. Nguyen is awesome. End of story. The only reason this isn't 5 stars(since you cant do 4.5) is because I've taken away a star for minor things about the office itself that arent worth getting into (the front desk person was one example)
