needed to handle something for my passport, which required a trip to United States Postal Service. It was a Monday afternoon, and this location was the closest one to the coffee shop I was working from at the time. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it might take a while, but I was determined to get it done. There were multiple people behind the counter, but only one person was actively helping customers at a time. Initially, a woman was assisting, and then a man took over. By that point, there were about seven people in front of me. When I finally reached the counter, I had a few questions since I do not ship items often. I thought my label was already printed, but it actually needed to be written out. I was told to go back to the end of the line. Thankfully, the line was much shorter the second time, so it did not take too long. However, when I returned to the counter, the employee assisting me was rude, which was disappointing. I also noticed the employees being rude to one another while working. I understand that disagreements happen, but it did not feel professional to handle them that way in front of customers. We are passing by and I stopped in. This post office is quite large. There's ample parking right out front. They seemed quite busy on one side. But I did not need any of their services, as I was able to use self serve. There were even some express boxes on one of the tables, so I was able to help myself. I was mailing some letters and knew I'd missed the morning pick up time near my residence. I was happy to see that there were 3 afternoon pickup times here. And one much earlier than my local branch. It was also nice to see that they have some open hours on Saturdays. I'd return if in the area. read more

I needed to send a package and it was Sunday. Because it wasn't a very large package I knew it would fit in their automatic system, so I went on their website to see what was open nearby. This came up as the closest, and since it's not terribly far from my house, I went. I was a little worried when I pulled into a completely empty parking lot, but the building was open, and they had the machine that I needed. I was able to make my purchase and attach the label to my package without any problem. I even bought a couple of international stamps while I was there, which I also needed. So far, everything was great. Then I went to the box to drop off the package and the box was locked up. I don't know how, because there isn't a lock or a chain or anything, but it did not open. No sign explaining why. No reason at all for this inconvenience to a customer. It's very sad to see what the post office has become. It should not be this way. read more

The workers at this facility are the most incompetent workers I've ever seen. They all need to be fired and be replaced with people that are capable of doing the job and helping the locals. This Post Office deserves to be CLOSED . Susan , ( blonde bob, old lady ) your clerk dismissed me before I could even approach the counter. I had a box that was heavy , I couldn't lift it myself so I asked her if she can have any of her co-workers help me lift the box 2 feet so that she can scan and proceed with my return. Well, here's an unexpected thing that happened when I went to this post office about about 2 months ago. I bought about $40 worth of forever stamps from the stamp machine located in the lobby. This post office is located just East of the CVS on Coconut Parkway and west of banks road. The lobby with stamp machines and mail slots are available 24hours a day. The stamp machine printed these stamps ( see photo ). Listen, it's the Post Office. I don't question their machines. So, I'm using these stamps here and there for 2 months. I went into the post office this week to mail something special. I put too much postage on it but I didn't care. I went to the counter and the lady says it needs stamps and that I have no stamps on it. What? It seems the postage machine in the lobby failed to print scan bars on the stamps. From the photo you can see that the left side of the stamp is blank. Again, it's the Post Office's machine. I didn't question it. I spoke to a Supervisor who accepted the envelope but said only this time. I went home and got my other sheets of stamps. It was obvious they came from a USPS machine. I had 39 stamps and they replaced them. Look at my photo. Make sure your stamps don't come out of the machine like this... read more

I always wondered about the term "Going postal". I know they say postal workers go crazy from the job but to be honest I think its the postal customers that should be "going postal"! Have been in line for 15 minutes just to he told another person there will need to assist. If I could choose one star, I surely would. We spent the morning waiting for an express package from out of the country waiting and heard the postal carrier drive by. We went outside but she had turned the corner and in my box was a "we're sorry we missed you" notice. That's complete B.S. it should have read I'm sorry I was too lazy to get out of my mail truck. Anyway so I drive to the post office a few hits later thinking I could get my package and the person there, Neil, after I waited 30 minutes in line, told me I'd have to try tomorrow. I explained that my mail carrier neglected to come to my door and he asked me if perhaps I had been in the bathroom. So to have my bathroom habits questioned when the carrier didn't do their job was very annoying and rude. So I asked Neil if I could speak with Dan the manager providing excellent service according to a sign on the wall. Neil then rudely told me that Dan doesn't work 24 hours a day. So I left because I wasn't getting my package. The next day I was able to pick it up...the fact that I had to go twice, spend almost one hour in total in line for a package that was paid as express was very very annoying. This post office is extremely busy, and always understaffed. I come here 3-4 times a week on my slow season and 6 day a week on peak season, so I know it's not only sometimes. I usually don't deal with the postal workers since I print my labels on line. Sometimes I have to, and while some of the workers are nice and helpful, some are rude. Ready to go packages get stacked on a corner counter and because of the amount of people who comes through here, sometimes they are so high, there's just no room for more. You can stand on line and hand them to a worker, but there are a couple who will tell you to leave them on the counter. On February 23rd, 2021, I went to the USPS on 8801 W Atlantic Blvd Coral Springs, FL 33071. This is the same Post Office I go to EVERY WEEK due to being a small business owner. This visit was different. I left feeling discriminated against & embarrassed. I had my 15 month old baby with me in my arms as I walked to the stand & a gentleman by the name of David, who is a lead clerk there says to me, "Ma'am, you cannot be in here with your baby". I asked him to repeat himself. He replied, "You cannot be in here with your baby. She does not have on a mask." I then stated that the CDC guidelines says to not put a mask on babies under the age of 2. He then states, " You are not allowed in this building without a mask. YOUR BABY IS INFECTING US ALL." I walked out, crying & shaking. This man was biased towards me & my child. After I got myself together, I walked back in to ask for a manager, but before I said anything he looked at me & put the "closed window" sign at his station & walked away. Another gentleman walked in & I asked if he was a manager, & he stated he was a supervisor. I explained to him what happened & he walked with me to the self service station & helped me there. I told him this was unacceptable & all he said was, "Your baby is too little for a mask, he's just over the top". The clerk David, was very unprofessional & ignorant of the regulations & policies. I was just turned away at 1:06, they close at 1:00. With my two infants that I loaded into the car and into their strollers, I was not allowed to pick up my dog's food. Why they left me a note that the package was too big instead of dropping it off at my front door.. I have no clue. My delivery is 3 days late. Inside I could see that there were still tellers and people in line. "Maam we are closed." I said, "it's really hard to load children into the car to get here, would you please help me I just need to pick up a package." "Maam we are closed, I don't want to argue with you." My response is "Oh I got it, you don't care." And I walked out. This Was all the assistance my children and I were given. Well I officially hate the post office. They have now lost 2 of my packages by delivering them to the wrong address... they have tried to now contact that other person twice. Next step is legal battle because I want MY items. I also feel the post people who made the accident should be written up and punished for a beyond stupid mistake! If I could give a 0 to this post office I would. I come here only because it is the nearest to my home. There ate usually only two people attending and huge lines. As a result packages get often lost. Sometimes o. International packages they ate yo lazy to finalize adding the plastic envelope to the package and it gets lost inside the facility! The worst management. The lady manager will not even listen to complains, poor customer service and a robotic attitude. Today however takes the cake! After staying in line for 30 minutes on a busy Monday with 6 huge packages all by myself when i finally get to the clerk, she demand my id even before finalizing the transaction. I am paying with a debit card i tell her, i use a pin code. She tells me without id she won't send packages. I hold the line even more because my id is in the car. Now i have to leave my boxes at her trust, run to the car and come back in to finalize my transaction. Now i get an attitude because she assumes my boxes are not payed for, ignoring post offices stamps around all boxes. And i tell her one package is international and hand her the right slip. Now she tells me she will not take my packages unless i sign my debit card in front of her yelling at me and the line by now is out the doors. To make a story short the whole transaction gets cancelled, i go back to my car with six packages thorn apart as she had to remove labels from them! They removed the QR code from the wall where you could leave feedback and nobody in here can give me a way to contact the post master. This post office is one of the best I've ever been to! I'm from Aurora, IL, and our post offices back home are way busier, and half the time they lose my mail! I visit Coral Springs 2-3 times a year for 3 weeks (I visit my folks). I buy and sell a lot on Listia and use the post office regularly. Yes many times there are lines but it keeps moving! People don't understand that post offices years ago had major cut backs and they are still struggling. But at least I can go in here, see a smile on everyone's face, get my mail out which always arrives on time or earlier! I put 100% faith into this post office! Way better than Chicagoland! read more
