I am in a very long ongoing dispute with an internet company over a package that was never delivered to me. NO ONE has been able to help me get the info that I need. Not the vendor, not PayPal. No one! Not even the national USPS customer service number. Today, I decided to call my local Belton Post Office and an angel named Bill answered the phone. He took the time to research my problem and gave me information that will help me resolve this mess and lead to a refund for me. I have been in this battle for 6 weeks! It took one caring USPS employee in Belton to take a few minutes and find the problem that will ultimately lead to my resolution. There really are angels here on earth and Bill is one of them. Use to be I could trust my mailman daily almost to a ten minute period, I'm at the point now where I'm receiving up to 4 days of mail at once and waiting to send mail out via mailbox. Not sure what the current issue is but I hope it gets resolved soon. Had a check that needed to be mailed out yesterday but it still hasn't been taken from my mailbox. I ordered an office chair from Amazon thinking it would be delivered to my home. They have never failed me before. Unfortunately, I didn't know they have USPS do deliveries here in Belton, Texas. Our mailbox is on the highway and the postal carrier will not drive down our dirt road to deliver nor was I called to let me know when they planned to deliver. Meanwhile, a message slip was waiting in the mailbox for me to find it. It said, "they tried to deliver". My daughter had to go to the Post Office to pick it up today. I think I should have been contacted to set up a date and time so I could be available. If I had to sign for it, that should have motivated letting me know. If there was a no star selection, I would have selected that block! This PO is trying to win the award for the least efficient in the Postal Service! On 8 Mar 21, My wife put a Birthday card in the mailbox for our daughter. As of today 16 Mar (her birthday) it has yet to be delivered to her address. This used to be a 3-4 max processing/transit time. The last 5 years the carriers have slide into the substandard portion of the grading scale. This is not the only problem we've had with delivery and receiving mail. Used to be a trusted, somewhat efficient organization, and, I guess I should have learned from the previous experiences! Pay the extra, go to UPS! Even tracking numbers are no good with this station! Whichever carrier got the envelope, hope your sorry ass enjoys the Starbucks cards and we've already blocked the check!! I have never been to a post office with such friendly employees. They are friendly, courteous and the service is prompt. On multiple occasions I waited at the most 2 minutes and the employee apologized for the wait...what? Where I came from you could wait 20 minutes and be treated rudely. read more

I went by this post office this morning because a package I mailed two days ago had not been scanned. I couldn't get anyone to go check in the back to look for it. They basically just said I was out of luck. Then "coincidentally" tracking showed it to be in their post office two hours later. Classic case of covering up incompetence. read more

Shitty service. So I wanted to get the key to my mail box. Well that didn't happen. So now I try to get a po box. In order to get that I have to have a valid address on my DL. That comes in the MAIL! Now they want to tell me they are doing me a favor by holding my mail that has my current address on it. But wait. Doesn't that mail state where I live? The reason the post office is going to get shutdown every year is because there is crappy service across the board. If I get a package it should be delivered to me on time every time. Absolutely dislike this post office. The workers are rude, system is ridiculous and don't even bother holding your mail. I put my mail on hold for 2 weeks while on vacation. I even had the form receipt from setting it up, my mail was delivered every day that I was gone. I have lived in small towns before and this is the worst. read more

Poor service. Submitted forms and payment for new keys to mailbox on Thursday, was told that the keys will be available on Friday at a dedicated place outside the house. No keys by Monday. Went back to post office on Monday. Of course they had lost all paperwork regarding the keys. Glad I had taken a picture of the form I had filled. Employees are not overly friendly, but that is to be expected at the post office. It is open in the mornings on Saturdays.

I came here because the USPS in Temple has a reputation for BAD customer service. I wasn't in the mood to risk it today and I was not disappointed in Belton. The two gentlemen working in the Belton location greeted me the moment I walked in the door. They were helpful and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. Keep up the great job, guys. read more
