This year our renewals came around and, once again, the increase was outrageous, staggering in comparison to last year's increase. THAT insurance agent used veiled threats, withheld information and basically did everything they could to keep us from shopping, but our new Financial Director told us she has a guy.......and he ended up coming in right under the deadline and saved us a staggering amount of money, with higher coverage that will open up new markets for us. "There's no way there can be that big of a difference", I told the Financial Director. "That can't be right", said the owner of the company. It was right. Constantin patiently answered every inquiry. Unlike my other agent, he was able to intelligently articulate the reasons behind the decisions, the wording, the coverage, the exclusions. Once again the renewal will carry a huge impact on our company, this time for the better, all thanks to Constantin and our new Financial Director, his long time loyal customer.

Out of five, two waited a week before sending me a follow up. One was rather high also. And two were very reasonable. Linda at this location not only send me a quote but followed up with a call to ask me a few questions. Those questions lead to a discount. After a couple more calls back and forward, my final cost was less than half the price of my current insurance. I gave them my credit card to cover my auto and home insurance. Being a native Texan, I knew that Germania was an option for me in Texas and I went through their site for a bid. In a very short time, Mary Wehmeyer from Timmons contacted me via email and then by phone. Mary was able to get several very competitive quotes for me. More importantly, she was an advocate and advisor for me in making a decision. (Having grown up as the son of someone in insurance, my experience with Mary quickly reminded me of the advantages of an independent agent.) Mary was exceptionally patient with me both in terms of answering my questions and in getting my insurance coverage to take effect only after my current USAA policy expired. On top of that, Jeffery insinuated with unprofessional passive aggressive emails when we simply wanted to know why we were not covered when we had PROOF of requesting to add on our 2nd vehicle. It's a disaster over there. And unacceptable for something this important. We are moving and switched to a much better auto/home insurance company. And happens to be cheaper with better coverage (and FAR better customer service). Wish we switched 4 years ago, verses giving this person our business.

There's a piece of mind in having a local agent handling all my home, auto, and motorcycle policies that I can't get simply buying a policy from the cheapest site online. The best part has to be the email correspondence. When I was considering a new motorcycle, all I needed to do was send Jeff an email with the VIN and desired coverages and in no time I had a PDF attachment in email with costs all broken down. And, when I screwed up and told Jeff the wrong VIN on the one I bought, he's cool as a cucumber and just made the change to my policy. The second-best part is the online portal. Sure, most major carriers have this today, but being able to pull all my info and check status of my policies and renewal and discounts and such myself is hugely beneficial. I don't want to call or email bothering Jeff with something like a Declarations page, and having that information available within a few clicks (and on my phone no less), is fantastic. Now, I've not had to file a claim yet, and I hope I never do, but I have every reason to believe that Jeff will be there to help me through that process if every the need arises. Bottom line, I feel like I'm in good hands with Jeff Dietz at Allstate.
