A beautiful former catholic retreat with a fantastic building & 2 churches, dating from the 1800. A wonderful refectory selling a selection of hot & cold food, including afternoon tea's. A nice park walk with carved animals, for children & adults to explore. I recommend this place for a visit, the views of Durham & beyond.
Plenty of parking & toilets available. A tour can be booked for a smai
