They refuse a consultation unless sign a fee agreement and pay in full, forgetting that a choice in a lawyer is a personal one and that a consultation is a two way street wherein the prospective client is interviewing the firm as well in order to make that choice. This firm gatekeeps and doesn't allow consultations. Steer clear of such outfits. If you are refused a consultation, hang up. It's your money that is going to be fueling the attorney that represents you so having a consultation to meet and assets them is vital to making a decision to hire a firm. Don't be rope in by this firm. Their business practices and ethics are questionable. This is a small town firm with small town mindset. Outside of their little bubble, they could not complete with other firms. The partners act as "holder than thou" types. Again, these are all red flag to seek a firm that exudes compassion, care, professionalism and willingness to listen and meet their clients.
