YET AGAIN another - "We aren't allowed to do that" - You'll have to go through the website! NON-HELPFUL ENCOUNTER with the people of US-CELLULAR on Edgewood road. It honestly feels like this companies two divisions are in competition with one another to see who can shuck off the most work from customers on to the other one. Two days ago we were flat out told in an email by a cust. service rep from UScelluar to return some items from our original order to the store. When we go into the store to do this, they treat us like we are trying to pull a fast one because it clearly says on "All Our Receipts." returns like this must be done within 15 days... Nevermind the packing slip that came with our order simply says "KEEP THIS SLIP FOR FUTURE RETURNS" and has NOTHING on it about how many days. And when we told them in the store about email they very tersely replied "Then you are going to have to call them, and have them call us or just deal with them why don't you?" We So regret trying to come back to UScellular but are stuck with them now and they know it so they don't care. read more

People are people. It's hard to separate. But the customer service is absolutely awful and it's not their fault. Wouldn't matter if it was a computer or not. 20 year customer. Done. I owe the DMV an apology. Turns out their service is down right speedy compared to US Cellular. The wait times have never been good here, now they are government like. They changed their billing system last summer and bills are still screwed up. Billing issues account for more than half the traffic. US Cellular used to brag they have the most satisfied customers in the business. I don't think they'll want to see the survey results now. The rewards program is a joke. For spending hundreds of dollars every month you get worthless points that can be used on overpriced accessories or to move up your phone upgrade by a few months. The interesting thing is before they started the program you could do that anyway - without reward points. Rates continue to increase with each new plan and service is worse than ever. It took more than 45 minutes to see someone today. I thought coming in a few minutes after they opened on a weekday would be better. The customer service people are very knowledgeable once you finally see them but they really need to add more help here. read more

Horrible wait times. Greeter checked in two people who came in after me and then finally got to me without even an appology. When i inquired about an estimation for the wait time, she flat out ignored me. I told her I had to be out of there in 40 minutes to pick up my son from school, and she just smirked at me and walked away. Horrible service! As soon as our contract is up we are leaving US Cellular for good! read more

I've experienced better is quite the understatement. I'm not sure what happened to this particular location but they need help quickly. My latest experience, while waiting to get a phone upgraded, was probably the worst that I have seen in a long time. When arriving we were greeted at the door by a very nice person who explained that the wait will be one half to an hour (frankly, one of the stars in my rating were for their kindness). We decided to take our chance. An hour later, after witnessing staff leaving for the day, other staff standing around talking and not helping anyone, the same people that were being helped when we walked in were still being helped after the hour and the same people waiting to get help were still waiting, and of course a few lucky souls that walked in at the right time were helped immediately. I realize the staff at US Cellular have a tall order to fill with everything else they have going on. But hopefully in the very near future they can get back to the customer service that brought me to them 14 years ago. For now I'll just hope that I can get my phones upgraded with relative ease and the bill doesn't change. Then I'll have a few years before having to deal with them again. read more
