I also want to recognize the two staff members I regularly interacted w/ on the physical therapy side as I have always had a great experience with them. They were kind, helpful, welcoming, and made my visits much more comfortable. Unfortunately, only one of the two remains, but I truly appreciate the care & positive interactions I have had with both of them. That being said, Unfortunately, my experiences with the new doctor in the office have been the complete opposite. This is not based on one isolated appointment, it has happened repeatedly, in more ways than one as I have had multiple interactions with her. I have truly struggled with whether to write this review because I am genuinely concerned about how my review may be received or whether there could be backlash from speaking honestly. However, I feel that patients have the right to respectfully share their experiences, especially when the same concerns happen more than once. During my interactions with her, I have increasingly been left feeling uncomfortable and unheard. In particular, when I attempted to explain what I am personally experiencing or attempted to provide information of what I had previously been told about my care with my doctor before she joined the clinic, I felt that my concerns were not given meaningful consideration and that the communication was often more argumentative rather than collaborative, and I have left appointments questioning whether I was actually being heard as the patient. I understand that she is the doctor and has her own medical knowledge and opinions, but I also believe that a patient should be given the opportunity to speak, explain their symptoms, and share relevant information about their own care without feeling talked over or dismissed. There have also been moments where I felt that information was presented to me in a way that was misleading or inconsistent with what I had previously been told or of what was followed through with, which made it difficult for me to feel confident in the direction of my care. I was also uncomfortable with negative comments made about other individuals within the work place. Regardless of anyone's personal or professional differences, I as a patient should not have been placed in the middle of the workplace tensions. I am not questioning anyone's credentials or attempting to speak for anyone else's encounters. I am only sharing my personal firsthand experience because I believe that in healthcare the clear communication, listening, mutual respect, professionalism, and collaboration with the patient are all extremely important when someone is trusting a healthcare professional with their care. Unfortunately, I have left more than 1 appointment with this new provider feeling uneasy&with what I can only describe as an "ick" feeling that has stayed with me afterward. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken in the spirit in which it is intended&used constructively. My intent is not to create conflict, but to address clear concerns&to encourage better communication, attentiveness, professionalism, and patient-centered care moving forward. These are essential to ensuring patients feel heard, respected, and properly cared for. I love the MyChart software which allows you to view all your medical records online, request refills, and easily communicate to your doctor online. I see Dr. McCormack, and he is wonderful! He's very easygoing, knowledgeable, and spends as much time as you need discussing treatment options. He's always interested in what you think about a plan and wants to agree on a decision together. You feel very involved with your care, and it's not in any way paternalistic. His replies to questions/refills outside the office are lightning fast, it's amazing! He is somehow always available to answer a question or help you if something comes up between appointments. He's very friendly and has a fun sense of humor. Definitely the best doctor I've ever had!

I have met Dr. Salimah Cumber the founder and owner. I found her to be an exceptional Doctor as well as kind and personable; as is all of the medical providers and staff members. She is ahead of her time with this service, as they now are everywhere and are many times unnecessarily expensive. The difference is that Salazi Medical Clinic has been established for many years and do genuinely care for their patients. Went for the follow up . . .. . Waited 30 minutes after my appointment and wasn't even taken to a room. I told the staff person at the front I was leaving but THEN, and ONLY THEN . . . We are ready to take you back RIGHT NOW!!! She has your chart!! Then she arrives and takes me to a room with the promise that she will update me as to when I can expect to be seen . . . Do you think I got an update???? Nooooo . . . . . So after cooling my heels there for 15 minutes, for a total of 45 minutes later, THE DOCTOR (bow down now, please) arrives and says 'what's the problem?' I explained the timing and he so kindly said "DO YOU WANT ME TO SEE YOU OR NOT?" An apology or explanation might have helped. So at that point, I did NOT want him to see me . . . . In a town of 4 million people, there must be a few thousand dermatologists more pleasant. Some might actually work on the problem.

Avoid This Practice!…read more I would strongly discourage anyone from seeking care at this practice. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, unprofessional, and financially draining. Between this office and the laboratory they use, I've received nearly $1,000 in bills for just two visits. One of which was for Dr Stalling to prescribe medication, which could've been done electronically or via phone. Despite repeatedly seeking clarification, nobody seems capable of explaining the charges. I was promised a follow-up that never happened. The lack of organization and communication is equally concerning. Staff members provided conflicting information about my diagnosis, and I was encouraged to schedule yet another billable appointment simply to receive a referral recommendation and clarity. The billing practices are questionable, the communication is terrible, and the accountability is nonexistent. I genuinely feel this practice is more concerned with generating revenue than providing quality patient care. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, and competent communication, especially when dealing with medical concerns. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those things here. I have been under his treatment for a chronic medical condition, for several years, and he has, always been meticulously in my treatment, and has, always, been patient and attentive in discussing my concerns. Without fail, during each visit, he would thoroughly explain my blood test results and take the time to talk to me about the progress of my disease. There is no possibility that Dr. Alfredo Sardinas Jr. would ever conduct himself in the manner that Alayna A. had suggested in her review. Neither would his assistant conduct herself in the manner suggested by Alayna A.. Both Dr. Sardinas Jr. and his assistant, Shira, have always responded promptly to my requests and concerns. It is disturbing that someone would try to tarnish their character, reputations and good works.
