I had great customer service from the minute I walked in the door and the passion Dr Rimas Gilvydis showed and the attention to detail he took was phenomenal. He was engaged with me the whole time and I felt very confident in his skill set. I felt like he had a more comprehensive approach for treating all of my veins and not just some of them has made me pain free and I would highly recommend this clinic for anyone in need of vein treatment.

BEWARE!!! I made an appointment for a vein consultation…read more Told them I had no symptoms and that it was cosmetic (spider veins, etc). During consult I explained I was looking to understand cost, number of visits, etc. Dr. Narendra Garg required an ultrasound of my veins..... this was completely unnecessary. I thought the consult was free... my fault - now I owe $250. Where I do take issue..is the $400 ultrasound charge for a test that was unnecessary during the consult. If I wanted to move forward and that was required before any procedures...fine. Not the case here. A clear move to pull money from insurance (and patients). NOT AN ETHICAL COMPANY

This past summer as a birthday present to myself, I decided to take action and see what could be done. After some initial research, I decided to try Veins Without Surgery at the Naperville office. After initial consultation, Dr. Garg set a treatment plan that included laser treatment, ambulatory phlebectomy, and now sclerotherapy. With each treatment phase, I was pleasantly surprised to find very little pain during the procedure. Then, just minimal to no discomfort after each procedure, with the worst part being the wearing of compression stockings. I've been very pleased with the results thus far and excited when I look at my legs and don't see big blue veins bulging out any longer. I can't wait to wear shorts this summer. My one piece of advise is to ask a lot of questions because I didn't during my consult and sometimes felt unaware of what to expect. I did, though, find a lot of answers on their website. The post procedure instructions have been very helpful. Overall, I am very happy with the care and service I've received.

My experience there was traumatizing. I still wake up rubbing my legs from the pain. After spending over $20,000 out of pocket, my legs ache and hurt more than before. Sometimes I think I can't live like this and break down crying. You trust a doctor to help, so you can have a better quality in life. I feel bad for people going through the same situation as me. How do you find a doctor who cares or wants to really help you? I'm in my 40's and some days I can't barely walk? I have kids and can't do much with them.. if I hadn't got what I had done here, I could be more useful in this one life I have. Please do what I didn't, get 3 expert opinions before any vein procedure. You might live with severe pain and regret if you don't.

I went back for some follow up work in September 2024 and only when I walked in did I know it was a completely different team and doctor. The scheduling team at USA Vein told me my appt was with McWilliams and his name is still on the door. Red flag #1. I receive my scan, notify the tech of my history of procedures and then meet Dr Fan. Part of the scan didn't transfer properly so he and the tech left the room to go recover it. I sat there for 30 minutes before I lost my patience and got up to leave. Dr Fan quickly ran through the list of procedures he thought I needed. I told him my history of procedures and what has worked and what hasn't. He said he would call me once he had the rest of my scan to schedule my procedures. Gave me a general idea of his plan...I disagreed with this plan based on my history but he just kept repeating himself that that plan was the right plan. No call ever came, just an auto generated email that 3 procedures were scheduled. Red flag #2. I go for the first procedure and I have a bad feeling walking in. They get me prepped and I'm on the table waiting for a VenaSeal procedure. Dr Fan is searching for the large saphenous vein (which I already told him has been ablated twice), and he can't find it. He's looking at my chart, confused, and says he can't do that procedure because the vein he was going to do it on isn't there. He asks if I've had any work done prior in which I tell him again what I've had done and he has this look of revelation that this procedure never would have worked due to my history. As I already told him before. At this point I was done. Done with this clinic and USA Vein. I did not have a pleasant experience here. I ended up finding McWilliams' new practice and am so happy I did. Moral of the story, trust your gut! I should have a bit sooner here.
