Dr. Makris and the staff was super nice and caring - they checked in on me the next day and gave good insturction for the post procedure care. I was treated on a Monday and I went for a RUN on Thursday and I didn't need to miss any work. The bruising and pain were surprisingly minimal and my leg feels and looks great now.

They obviously overbooked and don't respect the patient's time. The place has been dirty every time I am there. Boxes everywhere, lightbulbs out, dirty walls and floors. Some exam rooms look like storage rooms. The staff is even worse though. The girl at the front desk dresses like she should be doing yard work and just scrolls on her phone the whole time. She doesn't greet anyone, no interaction, no help. This was my 3rd appointment and my uneasiness made me walk out today and I will be starting over with another, more reputable clinic.

I went back for some follow up work in September 2024 and only when I walked in did I know it was a completely different team and doctor. The scheduling team at USA Vein told me my appt was with McWilliams and his name is still on the door. Red flag #1. I receive my scan, notify the tech of my history of procedures and then meet Dr Fan. Part of the scan didn't transfer properly so he and the tech left the room to go recover it. I sat there for 30 minutes before I lost my patience and got up to leave. Dr Fan quickly ran through the list of procedures he thought I needed. I told him my history of procedures and what has worked and what hasn't. He said he would call me once he had the rest of my scan to schedule my procedures. Gave me a general idea of his plan...I disagreed with this plan based on my history but he just kept repeating himself that that plan was the right plan. No call ever came, just an auto generated email that 3 procedures were scheduled. Red flag #2. I go for the first procedure and I have a bad feeling walking in. They get me prepped and I'm on the table waiting for a VenaSeal procedure. Dr Fan is searching for the large saphenous vein (which I already told him has been ablated twice), and he can't find it. He's looking at my chart, confused, and says he can't do that procedure because the vein he was going to do it on isn't there. He asks if I've had any work done prior in which I tell him again what I've had done and he has this look of revelation that this procedure never would have worked due to my history. As I already told him before. At this point I was done. Done with this clinic and USA Vein. I did not have a pleasant experience here. I ended up finding McWilliams' new practice and am so happy I did. Moral of the story, trust your gut! I should have a bit sooner here.

BART also did a fantastic job in mapping my veins so they could most clearly be treated! Jane who handles all the front office is so kind and helpful takes care of insurance issues and always takes the time to reassure all patients that Dr Boutros is an amazingly skilled Dr with years of experience as she is the BEST vein specialist that everybody can fully trust! The office is pristine and state of the art. It's comfortable as well. My GP recommended ONLY Dr Boutros and I trust him implicitly! I guess you expected me to do it by myself. Then she asked me what my problem was told her I had problems with anxiety, but this was not anxiety because I was seeing an d for abnormal test results, at that point the person that brought me in was trying to explain to her what was going on, and ignored her and started talking to the other and didn't even pay attention to what was said. they took me back to the waiting room, and I waited for 5 hours. when I asked how long it would be, she said it would be 6 1/2 hours more. There was some people there, but there were them that like they were just falling asleep. In the meantime I'm over here having tremors and wondering what the heck is going on with me once the subsided I decided to leave I wasn't gonna wait 6 1/2 hours. Nurses were not paying attention people that were there. People were sitting there for hours and hours on end people were leaving because they were upset. This is the worst place ever for ER. I do love their. Department but the ER sucks.
