I asked to pause for a while for legitimate reasons, but was denied. I attended for 8 months, paid for 4 I was unable to attend, then they charged me for an additional month. They tried explaining it to me that they needed to charge me on the first and the last of the month, but I guess it wasn't registering for me why I had to pay 13 payments for a 12 month contract. Very shady. And very rude and dismissive when I brought it up, not even trying to look into or understand the situation. I didn't make this a one star review because I really loved the instructors and my time there. It's honestly a shame. I had no idea other people were having the same experience, this can't be legal. I feel like they are setting themselves up for a lawsuit for no reason.

I was going to be in Memphis over the Christmas holidays and sent an email. Received a response from Brooke the same day encouraging me to drop in. Wanted to ensure that I created the proper approach, so I asked about the cost to attend a few drop-in classes while in town. She provided information on Bot's Boxing which operates from the same building at Memphis Judo. Brooke was very welcoming and instead of payment, asked for a review of their facility, instructors and the environment. My 5 Star rating speaks for itself, and i look forward to returning to the business when I'm in Memphis again.

My child is 5, and has the option to come any 2 days a week that work for our schedule. Children learn self-discipline, respect, balance, and strength as they go through the skill levels from the very first day they recite to earn their white belt. Parents may stay and watch, or may leave and return to pick their children up at the end of a lesson. At a child's second lesson of the week, he or she will receive a sticker on their belt focusing on the skill of the week. Stickers are also given out for students who complete the once-monthly homework assignment. Cost for beginners is about $130 a month, either 2 or 3 days a week, uniform is usually included in the initial registration package. T-shirts, also acceptable for practice, may be purchased in the lobby area. Once or twice yearly, an inner-school tournament is held among all the USA karate locations throughout the city. Kids compete, but nobody walks away empty handed. My only gripe is the advertising. USA Karate really uses its' students to plug the karate classes to their friends, and even rewards the students who give out the most vouchers, entering them in drawings for a big prize.

Turns out the Groupon was actually for their fitness boxing classes, which wasn't made clear to me until after I'd already taken two kickboxing classes. Whoops! Those two classes left me sore, drenched in sweat, and ready to do it again ASAP. I had A.O. as the instructor for my first class and Henry for the second class. They were both awesome. Neither of them let me fly under the radar or use the newbie card, which was fine by me. The music was great and everyone was so encouraging. Bless the woman who stood next to me during the second class and gave me tips the entire time! I'm kind of bummed they don't have a single-class/drop-in rate. I just can't justify adding another gym membership right now, but I'll keep them in mind for when one of my memberships run out.

Not a real boxing gym this is a fitness gym I suggest u…read moredont go here if u wanna be serious with boxing as they have poor coaching skills and one of the coaches name zach is very rude and doesn't even know how to laces the boxing gloves properly almost every coach in that gym doesn't and will get mad if u ask them to lace your gloves never went to a boxing gym where they claim they are a real boxing gym but have a fans on and don't even teach u how to throw a punch properly with the footwork and technique they just tell you what u want to hear . If you are serious about boxing go look at another gym and spend more time instead of looking here you will regret wasting your money on here unless u are someone who just wants to workout and not serious about boxing
