Because it's difficult to add recessed lighting "after the fact", they suggested a different kind of light...a kind of 'disc' light...it looks very similar to a recessed light, but isn't. They are perfect. Personally, I think they are better than a recessed light, because they are brighter!! They also added a dimmer switch to the lights. It's exactly what we wanted. Save a huge headache and find one of them I needed help installing 2 nest thermostats into a multi-zone system. Asked them if they could come by to give a quote. They said they had a guy in my neighborhood the next day who could take a look. He stopped by for 10 minutes and said he didn't have the expertise to install it. With all that said, I was quite shocked to receive a $100 invoice a week later. After calling them up multiple times, they said they don't charge for quotes, but somehow considered this a service call?? I've worked with about a dozen contractors over the last couple of years on projects and never had a negative experience like this.
