They installed our siding, soffit and facia. We started having water running from the facia, though…read morethe soffit, dripping down against the house. So we got gutters installed, which the house never has had, and the water issues continued. We called them many times to get them to come out to see what the issue was. They never came out. We went to a different company to see if they could help. We found out we just needed 2-3 more downspouts and a flashing. I would never recommend Western Products based on our experience with them. Very unprofessional.

Our family contracted Western Products to do our roofing, siding, and gutters. We love the way it…read morelooks now that its done. It was finished 2 years ago and the only thing we love about their services is that our home looks beautiful on the outside. We came to Western with a concern of fixing a small leak in a bathroom and took our salesman's advice on how to remedy this issue. Our roof had consisted of various venting including bathroom exhaust vents, whirly birds(4), sewer stacks, and also gable vents at each peak. We had wood soffits at the time as well. Our salesman Brady advised us to relocate our bathroom vents to the gable walls. We got those moved. He also advised us to cover up the gable vents when they reside, add an additional whirly bird and switch to vented soffit. When it was our turn to have our project started we were immediately met with issues of installers. We were scheduled with a long time siding guy and a guy who didn't have a way to get to work and had never touched power tools or worked construction. They would show up late and get very little done because the main guy would have to go pick up the other guy and then also train the other guy as they went. The other guy didn't have proper clothing and this job was taking place in late fall in ND. The guy would end up leaving early sometimes before lunch time crying and being cold. Over this long process the other guy finally caught on for the most part but then wouldn't show up some days. The main guy even sided part of our house with the wrong siding. Once the roofing came the were short whirly birds and the boxes were delivered damaged. The installed what was delivered which then later required multiple service calls to have them fixed as they didn't spin and if they did it sounded like nails on a chalk board. The missing whirly birds eventually got put on as well which was a whole other mess. When it came to our soffit installation they left them open for atleast a week with small holes so my husband had to put screens up to make sure we didn't get critters till they could get the soffits up. We have had multiple service calls about gutters leaking all over and pouring out the corners. After the main install was done winter hit and our small leak in our master bath turned into raining from multiple areas in our ceiling. I called and inquired what they thought was going on. They informed us that we must have improper insulation in our attic. Well after spending a ton of money on our homes exterior we were strapped for money and had to take it into our own hands. My husband took to the attic and cleared as far as he could the blown insulation back from the soffits and put shoots in to help with the air flow. We also rented a insulation sucker and blower and removed the wet insulation and put new insulation in over our master which seemed to help for the time being. Western instructed us to get our whole attic cleared out and new insulation put in which quotes were coming in with big dollar signs. We eventually came up with a way to get that done the following fall. The insulation company came in and cleared all our old insulation out and put in closed cell spray foam and filled with R50 blown insulation. Now we were set! Well so we hoped after that was done winter hit we had water coming in in our master bath, my sons bedroom, our laundry room was pouring at times and our master closet had water coming in as well. After multiple people including other roofers, plumbers, and insulation companies it was found that Western had never actually cut the soffit areas out of our wood soffits to actually allow our attic to breathe. The small holes that were there from original were small and not adequate for a soffit whirly bird venting system. Now through all of this Western has denied any of this being their problem. Our insulation company got Western to meet up at the same time so they could make sure the soffits were cut open to what was needed for proper ventilation. Once this was all done their foreman who caused bent down spouts that he stepped on and replaced with a completely different color, when reinstalling the actual soffits did a sloppy job where he left gapping between the soffit and facia, he left gapping in the soffit at light fixtures, left out gates wide open at the end of the day on the side of our house(we have small children and dogs), left the area littered with staples and debris. When Western was done reinstalling the soffit the foreman came and apologized for the mess up. That's all great and danddy but Western thinks this is our problem not theirs. We paid for professional work on our home and were given less than satisfactory time and time again. We had to have our ceilings tested for mold, portions replaced, mudded, and painted. Western said well submit to your insurance. This is by no means something our insurance should have to cover. HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!!!!!

A few years ago we had roof damage during a storm. Contacted several roofers. Riley agreed to come…read moreout right away and fix it. It was a small repair and they did a great job. Due to our experience at that time we contacted him when we needed to re-shingle the whole roof. The roofing crew did an excellent job. We requested an estimate for replacing our front doors including a storm door. He required 50% down payment. He started on the doors in a timely manner. The project took longer than expected as there was dry rot on the front entry door. He did a great job on what he did. He still needed to install the lights, show us how to switch the glass to the screen, put the shutters back up and replace the weather stripping on the garage. He said he would be back to finish the work. We had asked for an estimate on laying new flooring. He said he could start on the flooring the next week if we gave him 50% deposit on the flooring. I paid the balance of what was due for the current project and the deposit for the flooring. That was 2 months ago. We do not hear from him unless we reach out to him and he has had many excuses for not finishing our project. We have demanded our flooring deposit back and have not received any money nor has the work been completed.
