I have to admit...Bobby is an excellent electrician. For his experience and workmanship, he definitely deserved a 5 stars. HOWEVER, admittedly, I rushed into the decision making process when I should have held back. I had several work done...replacing the circuit breaker panel, installation of a surge protector, installation of a wall electric heater and installation of five LED lighting...total price for the job? $9300.00 I did a product pricing for the items used and the total price for the items used? $540.95 So, is $9300.00 total pricing outrageous or not????? You the reader can decide... I think I should have did some competitive pricing first, what do you all think? If you add California 9.5% sale tax on $540.95, the total amount is $592.34 so labor charge is $8,707 / 6 hours = $1,451 an hour. Not a bad gig... much more than what an attorney would charge per hour. I should have went to trade school. Again, Bobby is a very good electrician and it was dum dum me who did approve the charges without clear thinking. So, a word of advice...THINK BEFORE YOU GREEN LIGHT CUZ THE BILL IS GONNA BITE YOU ON THE BEHIND. read more

You may want to think twice about using this company. I am a female, Sr citizen and was ripped off by this company. I paid Jonathan to replace a GFI ($75) and the two-switch circuit breaker ($250) that controlled that GFI (as well as other GFI's). He did not do that. After replacing the GFI, he found that there was nothing wrong with that two-switch breaker. In order to save money, I assume, he chose to replace a different and good single-switch breaker, that did not need replacing, and that would be cheaper for him to buy than the two-switch breaker. Not having done the job he was paid to do, to replace the two-switch circuit breaker, he needs to refund that portion of the money ($250) that I had paid for him to replace that two-switch circuit breaker. I will probably have to take him to court to receive my refund. read more

Maybe get a couple of different estimates to makes sure. We looked them up on Yelp and they seemed to have great reviews. I give them 5 star for fast response service but 1 star for price. 6200 for around 3 hrs of work. I thought this was steep as the Grand Canyon. Couldn't believe it. They gave me 10 percent off after I called back to tell them my shock so About 5600 was charged. I called and asked how much per hour do you generally charge? He said we charge per job. I said so if it's a charge of 1000 to 2000 per hour that's the charge? He continued and said it's per job and definitely stayed Clear from answering the per hour charge. It was during the heat wave and half of the house was out of power. I would be willing to pay a lot more but wow. The invoice is hardly legible and says replaced everything in the fuse box. So vague and No part numbers of what we paid for. Over 6000 brought down to about 5600 after I called to complain is still pretty wild for around 3 hours. After getting finding a highly rated electrician on Yelp to tackle a wall pack parking lot light replacement, I was awaiting a proposal from them and was set on hiring them but ended up getting ignored and forgotten and treated like a redhead step child so I had to move on.(I left them a less than positive review so hopefully that will jog their memory). So back to Yelp to search and find a specialist tradesperson who is trust worthy and responsive. Fortunately I found USA Repairs and Electrical. After going though the company switchboard I get patched to an electrician on the field, Steve. Over the phone I describe to him what I needed done at the work site. I had to install a wall pack light outside of a building. The existing light unit is about 12 feet above the ground and you'll need a straight ladder to access it. He processes this information for about 3 seconds and tells me the price range I'm looking at. I tell him that sounds good and we set up a time for him to come out and do the job but added that I needed him send me a proposal so I can have a record that I've actually been dealing with the company because I don't want to expect service and then the tech not show up and then I'm back to square one again. He agrees and tells me once he gets back to the office he'll send something out that later afternoon. Flash forward to around 5pm. I'm starting to get worried because I haven't gotten any email from the tech. I call the company back and they connect me with Steve. Steve apologizes and tells me he's still out on the field working a job but gives me the exact price and reconfirms the time window but will call me before he sets out. Settled and done! The day of the job I get a phone call from Steve to let me know he's on his way to the work site and his ETA. He calls a little earlier than the appointed time but I'm okay with that because for me the sooner the better so that was a nice plus. When I meet Steve, he is personable and friendly and gets right to work. Since I have some errands to run around the Hollywood area, he tells me he'll call me about 20 mins before he finishes so I can make my way back. About a half an hour later I get a call for Steve letting me know he's about done. Wow! That was quick work. When I returned, I see the offending, burned out, massively heavy metal halide light unit has been removed and replaced by the light weight energy efficient LED unit I had provided him to install. The mounting looks clean, we test it and everything fires up nicely. I'm pleased. Professional work and done without any hemming and hawing.
