Enrolled in CA realty training KW October 2020. Once I was done with the class Covid hit and I couldn't get a test date. A year passed and a test date became available. I enrolled and failed. (Soooo discouraging) took about another two months to reschedule the test. This time I was scheduled for July 13th which gave me two weeks to buckle down and study. To be honest, I didn't finish the course. After the 3rd or 4th lesson, I decided to go elsewhere for my learning. The content is dry, boring, and is delivered with a very old school approach. There is little to no context in what's being presented in the text and the content isn't interactive, so learning becomes a slog fest. It seems like the positive reviews are all for the "crash courses" or specific instructors, which I have not experienced. Bottom line, if you love reading and reading and reading and reading, and aren't into dynamic, fun, interactive, learning, this training course will be perfect for you. Ian is the REAL DEAL!!! I honestly can't recommend his servicies enough. I don't recommend that anyone does this, but I started studying for the state examen three nights before the test. The only study material I had was his crash course and I passed!!! I signed up for the online version and I was able to follow along perfectly in two and a half days. However, I wish I would have gone in person because Ian seriously seems like a great person. His crash course is more than real estate exam preparation, he is so motivating and gives awesome test taking tips. He's like your real estate exam cheerleader. His relaxation/meditation techniques really came in handy when I was an hour into the exam and getting really tired. More than anything, I felt that Ian really wanted me to pass!! Even though I didn't meet him in person, you could just tell that he is passionate about teaching real estate AND takes pride in building his students' confident UP before the exam. His examples actually stick (chattel, anyone?) and you can tell that he has so much experience teaching. One technical glitch, even Robert Rico himself came in mid-morning attempting to fix the technical glitch. Despite this, Diane breezed through very gracefully. One could not tell there was a glitch because Diane captures your attention immediately. Maayan was timely and informative in explaining what resources can be utilized for the online courses. For a program that you elect to be completely online, quality technical support and interface is usually what sets the great programs above the others. Both of which are easily accessible. I would definitely recommend this program, although a bit costly, to help you prepare for your real estate exam because it doesn't make you feel like you are on your own. Ian Medina made so much sense in all of that big thing called Real Estate. He explained all the concepts with life examples that made those tricky questions not so tricky and scary anymore​. I took strictly online courses and crash course. I believe you are given adequate material to pass without needing additional material and Mr. Medina makes the crash course online very interesting with his stories that the material will stick. Make sure to fully understand concepts and terms to help pass the exam. The proctors at the La Palma facility are not as mean as they made them sound like and are actually very nice and provide a peaceful atmosphere. I took the exam today and passed! I did review the questions for a second time to make sure I was happy with answers and was glad I did on a few. He set me up for the classes and was very helpful. My first month of class was taught by Robert Rico. No Chase. Wrong again. Just because the students in that weekend crash course didn't feel they could be honest enough and attest to Diane's ridiculous ways - and I do mean- ridiculous - is not any indication to her doing a grave misjustice to multiple people. Can you imagine someone asking a question to her, and just because she didn't know the answer, her quipping, "Ah, Gina, do you want to take this one?" What?? You pay for a crash course, and the instructor confuses the hell out of you, and then asks a mortgage broker, who's trying to learn too and pass her exam to step up nd answer a question?! Yuk! Why don't you find out how many people left for San Diego the next morning -- and failed!! They are all going to Ian Medina because your crash course was a waste of time and money! We should all get our money back! Ian offers that and more! Let me be clear - the reason I passed the first time was because I took a live crash course with him in Bakersfield! Yes, I followed up with his videos that you offered, but I still had his book that I kept from the previous time that I was in his class. Your videos are old. But, an old video of his is still far better than any new video you have with anyone else, I think the thing that got me most upset was when I privately texted Diane to tell her that there were multiple students who were driving that night to take the exam the following morning and to please focus on getting them to pass. Do you know what she said and did? No, of course you don't. Let me tell you. She texted me back and said that the course was a 2 day 8-5 one and that she wasn't going to finish any sooner! She was so clueless as to what she was doing, I had to text her back and tell her that I wasn't asking her to finish sooner, but that people were feeling overwhelmed and confused. Do you know what her response was? She turned off her phone!! Yes! Turned off her phone. if you'd like - I'll be happy to show you the thread of texts. I do not lie. And I detest the way you are! And just try to counter any of this and I will take the time to make a copy of the text messages of the students complaining about her to me! And I will have at least one of those students who failed!! to write their own review. People get intimidated and want to move on. Well, I reached out and told them NOT to try one of your crash courses again and risk the very same thing happening! And I gave them Ian Medina's number and website address. You can try all day long to defend your inept and unqualified instructors. It falls on deaf ears. You're a business owner. What does a business owner do? Try to keep their business alive. Well, if you want to keep it alive, get Diane out of the crash course part of it, I have never felt more disenfranchised and exasperated. For you to deny another student to get on with their real estate career by being honest is a further indication of ruthlessness. How much do you really care about the students in who's hard earned money you take? How many people do you simply push through your school without any regard for what happens next.?
