I'm not a fan of dirty laundry or having to do my laundry myself, but hiring staff for that might have to wait until I win the Powerball. My current washer at home is a top load with an agitator, so I usually do my rugs or large blankets at the laundromat in large capacity machines instead. I just discovered that this Busy Bee laundromat is close to where some of my friends live, so it's convenient to stick some loads in there and then beeline back to my friends' places for coffee and snacks while waiting. This Busy Bee is much quieter and loads cheaper than the Plum Street laundromat in Red Wing. It's quite nice that it doesn't take you to the cleaners with their prices! A load in Red Wing costs $3.50 (just for the washer) vs $1.50 at this location. Pressing on to the dryers...the dryers here are very annoying as they take a quarter per 7 1/2- minute cycle. I'm not sure if adding additional quarters at one time equates to a longer cycle or if it just takes your money (since there is no timer indication), so I wasn't about to experiment with that. I really appreciate how quiet this laundromat is, in addition to the great prices and cleanliness. It's the bee's knees for the large items I need to wash, and is cheap for Winona University and St. Mary's college students on a budget. Luckily, I don't have a laundry list of dislikes, other than that the machines are so old that you don't see timers displayed. I rate it 3 quarters/22.5 minutes.

Sierra printing is pretty much a one man show, and John is the man. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and has a work ethic like you don't find very often. If he promises something on a certain day, he will probably have it done the day before. He makes sure that everything is right before he goes ahead with it, and he doesn't try to soak you by charging exorbitant prices. He is so easy to work with and does an exemplary job. I would recommend him to anyone who has printing needs. I do both charity work and private parties, and he has always been able to provide me with the kind of service that I appreciate. I highly recommend Sierra Printing.

I would post pics showing what it looks like but no photography is allowed. I thought the one woman was going to bat my phone out of my hand when I took it out to take a pic. It is 2019; 80 year old grandmothers have smartphones with cameras. If it's about flash photography, say so and let me take pics without the flash. Otherwise, a restriction on photography gets you an immediate downvote in my book. 2. You see three rooms and you can't even go in and look around, it's all roped off. 3. None of the guides knew anything beyond their script. Anytime anyone asked a question they said they didn't know the answer. Why are you working here if you don't know half the questions people are asking? Beautiful house, what you can see of it.
