I always hate leaving negative reviews on small businesses but the work done to my boots actually…read moredamaged them more than repair them. The owner seems like a nice gentleman and he was very quick with his work, but the quality was not there on this job. I needed the liner of a very nice pair of boots reattached, and when I picked up my boots the entire footbed now have dry glue on it, the interior of the tongues have glue residue, and there were glue stains on the suede exterior of both boots. If the job was something he was not comfortable with I would have preferred him to not take on the task vs potentially ruining a nice suede boot that I will probably have to send them out and spend significantly more to have the original job re-done as well as attempting to undo the damage that was added. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I couldn't recommend others here in good conscience after this work.

He gave me specialized winter soles and I didn't even ask to them!! I took them in on a Friday afternoon, expecting to have them finished sometime mid-next week and he called me Saturday morning and said I could pick them up. After I said I couldn't make it that day, he offered to come in on Sunday (when they were closed) so I could get them for work on Monday. All of this without asking. A true small business owner and craft expert at his trade. I won't be taking my business anywhere else!! The only thing that stinks is that it's cash/check only, but I definitely understand that since its a small business.
