I went in with a box containing a pair of boots I ordered from a vendor through Amazon. I had printed out the label I received from the vendor and the paper from Amazon reflecting the return approval statement and bar code. I asked the person behind the counter what I needed to do. She admonished me for not being prepared as if I were a child. I Told her that I wasn't sure what I needed to do, and if she told me what I needed to do, I would do it. All the while, she was preparing the box to be mailed. She went on to say that she didn't believe I didn't know what to do because everyone knows how to mail packages. I assured her I would not lie to her. By this time, she finished preparing the package and handed me a receipt. I told her I was sorry that she was so angry. She said too much. She could have told me what to do and had me step to the side so I would not hold up the line. The worse thing was how she spoke to me. She was rude, condescending and seemed intent on trying to humiliate and embarrass me. Instead, she just made a fool of herself. Worse, her behavior made public servants look bad. Her statement opining on what everyone knew was surprising. How would she know what everyone knows. Her conduct as a public servant was uncalled for and most inappropriate. I know it is a tough time for federal government workers, but it is not the public's fault. I noticed several similar comments on yelp about the rude behavior of employees at this post office. Perhaps the employees need sensitivity or anger management training.

This post office is doing great. They were helpful when I needed to replace a mail key (though they…read moreare not in charge of mail keys for all locations). There will probably be a line when you go in.

Usps - No one at the window at 11:20 am on a Friday. Ridiculous.

When you get inside, there's usually an additional wait as there's often only one or two people working behind the counter. When you get to the counter don't expect anything extra (e.g. a greeting, politeness, customer service) other than the minimum requirements to complete your transaction. The last time I came here, there was one person behind the counter. She was serving a customer and surprisingly, I was the only other customer there. As she finished with this customer I approached the counter to buy the stamps I came for when she just... left. I mean, she looked me straight in the face and just walked away without a word. She was gone for at least 5 minutes. No warning, no notice, no " I'll be with you in a moment" or "I'll be right back". Just walked right off with no warning. Meanwhile, several other postal workers behind the glass (ummm... why do you have bulletproof glass at a post office?) walked by the counter and just looked wordlessly at me and the now burgeoning crowd, all waiting to be serviced. Finally she came back, eyes wide at how large the crowd had grown. She never offered an apology for the inconvenience or the unexpected absence, nor thanked me for my patience. Nothing. Just rude, disinterested, barebones service. If I didn't really need to get my parcel out that morning, I would have definitely patronized a different post office and saved myself the aggravation.

Super convenient post office to my mom's house, and have been numerous/thousands of times. It seems…read morelike they're still adjusting to Covid being endemic though as they have all this signs up still about their restrictions when things were worse and the entire section where the clerk is is sectioned off behind a newer glass wall. The line was long today, but I had a good podcast and wasn't in a hurry. Thing is though, with 3 or 4 people in front of me and 2 working on other packages inside , it could've helped to briefly have a second attendant. When I talked to her she was very cordial. Also, it's always dark in there and it looks closed when you walk by. Inside the door that looks like it's for passport appointments is falling apart and the stand of packaging supplies seems to be blocking a good number of P.O. Boxes. The interior needs a makeover badly. Basically, it's a good post office, they just need to take down the plexiglass wall they put in during COVID and do some little renovations. There's money here in Cleveland park.

She doesn't have a bad day, she is a pure grey cloud of negative energy . She is rude and miserable. There is zero joy in this woman's body. Ive not sure why she works for the US postal service in customer service with such a negative personality. I got spoiled living in Columbia and having Ms.Yvonne for YEARS'!!! I have occasionally left the most office if Tonya is working solo because she is that miserable to even be in close proximity to. You hear how she speaks to everyone and you think na ill pass. Theres now a UPS store across the street. Go there if you can it may be more expensive but this woman is an unpleasant experience. I feel bad for her coworkers cause I couldn't imagine working every day with a human just miserable 24/7. Ive tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but I've been in Cleveland park 3 years. It's always a terrible experience. I feel blessed from the mail gods when shes not working and i get lucky enough to see the other women who work here who are lovely.
