Overall extremely frustrating experience, and still haven't even gotten the package yet.

I was denied services for having a bike which seems pretty ridiculous when there's no place to secure it outside. Feels classist. Based on the reviews you guys can't afford to turn away customers, especially over someone's perceived class status.

Mail a letter from your address in Urbana to your neighbor down the street...your letter comes here first for sorting. This location is also the only one in the area with a self-serve shipping kiosk, which can do the work of about four USPS employees.

I get nervous walking into post offices these days…read more Post office customer service in the Chicagoland area left a lot to be desired while living there for 4 years. So, so slow. There must be something in their union agreement about only being allowed to help 6 customers an hour. No urgency whatsoever. Today, I ventured to the post office in Savoy. Despite living in Champaign this location is closest to our new home. Walked in and there were only a couple of people in line. No biggy, as this gave me time to look at their greeting cards. They were helped as quickly as possible. Yay! I was just there to check-in a package that I already had postage on, so my transaction was easy peasy. Will most definitely be back; maybe just for greeting cards. They had a lot of fun ones.
