    I felt compelled to write a review since the only other reviews on here are 1 star and this place…read moredefinitely deserves more than that. I used U-haul's moving containers/pods to move from California to Idaho. This the service where you pack and they ship them to you. My guaranteed delivery date to my home was December 15th. I had family members arriving that same day to help unpack. Unfortunately, this location was a bit understaffed that day so they could not deliver my containers until the 16th. This was not the best news because the containers had our guest bed that my in laws were supposed to sleep in on the night of the 15th. I spoke with the General Manager Jon (I forget his last name), and he was more than willing to work with me. I offered to pick up the container myself if they lent me a trailer that I could pull behind my truck. John agreed and that's what I did. I ended up going back after unloading that container and picking up another trailer with my last two containers and a Uhaul truck that could pull the large trailer for FREE. Now, Jon made this happen and really saved Uhaul's reputation in my opinion because I was a bit irritated that corporate did not first check to see if they could actually fulfill their promise on the guaranteed delivery date. This location deserves 4 stars because of Jon's great customer service. The only reason I'm not giving this location 5 stars is because there is a gentlemen there who works under Jon that makes it known he doesn't want to be there by his sh*ty attitude... I won't name names though because he looks like he really needs the job.

    The best joke in the area…read more We were moving stuff from Washington to Arizona. In the drive down, the U-Haul's "Service Engine" light came on. Now being a proactive guy, we called into the road side assistance while we were parked at the local Chick-fil-a. I advised the person on the phone of the issue and he said we should take the truck to the local rental location, which I did. Upon arrival, I walked into the mail building (part of it is storage) and tried to talk to an employee in a green U-Haul shirt. I started to explain what had happened and his first words were "I'm not a mechanic, what am I supposed to do, I can't fix a service engine light." He then continued to rant about how crappy the process is and that he can't fix it and I need to work with roadside assistance. He did decide to call RA and get some input from them. After about 30 minutes he finally decided to look at the code and see what was wrong. Once he got the code, he called RA and they directed me to get it to a local mechanic. I had to drive it over and explain what was going on. After 1 hour at the mechanic said it was a fuel issue and needed a new fuel pump. This requires removing 2 feet of stuff from the truck to get access to the panel. I asked for a new truck to get on the road as we had hotel reservations to get to. They said no and that we had to wait. Ultimatley it took over 3 hours to get the issue resolved and I had to push for it. The local service center guys sucked. They were more than unhelpful and so was RA. I had to push to get the stuff fixed and it became my issue instead of U-Haul doing whatever they can to help the customer. I should have let the truck break down on the side of the road instead of being proactive and saving them tons. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

    First I want to start the review by saying that if you have a Lowes /Assurant protection plan on an…read moreappliance and they assign Pro Tech for the repair, immediately call Lowes / assurant and firmly demand they find another repair place! They will accomodate this request. We had Gerald as our " tech". He came into our home with an extremely unfriendly / rude manner. He barely could make the effort to listen to what was wrong with the range. There was no response back when talking to him. He appeared mad that he even had to be at our house. He tinkered around for ages in silence, randomly pushed his iPad at me to connect him to our wifi. What?! Couldn't remember my password, he was visibly annoyed. I finally found it and connected him. No thanks or acknowledgement. Very unprofessional! Then towards the end of the service call he demanded that I get my manual out for the range so I could recalibrate the temp myself !!!!!! Who keeps their manual handy and why was he not doing this? This is his job. He said he had no idea which way he turned the adjustment, he said it would be up to me to figure out how to calibrate my oven!!!! I informed him that I would not be searching for the manual as I had no idea where the manual was and I was never informed ahead of time that I would need it. I told him to calibrate it himself as that was his job as a repair guy. He got hostile and went to the stove to calibrate the temperature which now is completely off even worse and I cannot use the oven now at all! I feel like in his irritation at actually doing his job that he made it inoperable on purpose! He proceeded to argue and mansplain to me and my husband about the warranty. All his information was incorrect. I felt very uncomfortable having this person in my house and the next day called Pro Tech to request a new " tech" when the parts arrived. The OWNER argued with me and refused to help in any capacity. Very bad business practice. I have since called Lowes/ Assurant and reported the business and sent them screenshots of all the 1 star reviews. They are flagging the business. We live up in Hailey so this Gerald person is supposedly the only "tech" that comes to our area so be warned Valley People. He is rude, unprofessional, creepy , abrasive, talks very badly to women and you will want him out of your house immediately! He also has a very ANNOYING habit of clicking his pen NON STOP the entire time so you feel like you are going insane. If ZERO stars was an option, this is how they would rate! 1 -star is way too generous. I wish I had read the reviews before having this person come out.
