No sign , no explanation, then I have to call and report it. No answer at the 2 local offices in Auburn. They ignore the phone. It has been reported several times a year and this behavior never changes. So upsetting, I pay for this service. Postmaster in charge does nothing, I mean it's only open 30hrs. a wk. They treat this as if it was there personal business, this is a government bldg. We are paying customers! So rude and unprofessional. Sadly it's the same horrible service in Poland and Oxford, Maine has the laziest unethical workers in the United States as my experience. Always excuses to not work and screw those over that do. They don't hold your mail; regardless if you've submitted the hold form. So be ready to have someone come pick up your mail off your doorstep when you're out of town. 2 Months ago had mail just missing from the envelopes. When I contacted them, they never answered their phone. I had to go through a Third Party customer service to open a ticket. They "resolved" my problem by finding my "missing mail"-- AKA the empty envelope.. When I asked where my item inside the EMPTY ENVELOPE was (because i actually had to send that item back!), I was told "Idk it's not in my vehicle." .... HELPFUL, thank you so much! Jfc I've yet to see any resolution to this matter. They constantly send your mail back to Fargo after they get it to Minot for unknown reasons. I wouldn't ever recommend paying for expedited/speedy shipping. It won't get there in time. Expect additional days and a waste of $$. They find excuses to not deliver mail. For example: Thursday April 28, 2022 the weather was H:40 L:28 Partly Cloudy-- they decided "We were unable to attempt delivery of your item on April 28, 2022 at 10:14 pm in MINOT, ND 58701 due to hazardous or unsafe weather conditions. Your item will go out for delivery on the next business day as conditions permit." Today: Friday April 29, 2022 they have decided to not update or deliver any mail. With the same excuse as before" "the weather" Yet the weather was perfectly fine AGAIN today- 50°. I wish there was another mail system we could use. The USPS is absolute garbage for a Government Agency.
