This small post office has made shipping easy and fun again!!…read more There are two people I have seen working at this post office and David is extremely helpful and knowledgable about all things USPS. Most times I go into a post office expecting to pull my hair out with frustration and to be greeted with unfriendliness and inefficiency. David, while usually working by himself, is quick to get you taken care of and gives you all the time in the world to ask all your questions and send your packages in the best way possible. Have you ever gone to the post office and had your box ready to go except for the one or two pieces of shipping tape to close the box? And some post offices claim that they cannot possibly spare you one slice of tape, unless of course you send via priority... And then they don't tell you until you have already purchased and used one strip of an over-priced shipping tape reel from their store?? Well, not here. David will do all that he can to be helpful. David has put the joy back in package and letter sending--- he is cheerful whether the line is out the door 15 minutes before closing at the Christmas time rush or when there is nobody there at 10:00am on a normal day. My only complaint is that they do not have an overly-festive stamp inventory to choose from, but I can get those online since I am picky. Be sure to get here at the less-rushed times and you will get awesome service with a smile.

Despite getting recommendations for other places that cost much less, I took my damaged iPhone 4 here for a new case. I had to pay upfront, was not told when the parts came in, waited months to have it done, and was sorely inconvenienced in the process. I was told several times to drop my phone off overnight as if I couldn't possibly need it. Most businesses have such items in stock at all times. I wouldn't have minded waiting for the part to come in if they had been able to accommodate me by letting me drop it off for an hour or so in an afternoon. Nope, you must drop it off at 8:30 am. The second time I needed a new case I had it fixed at the Dakota Square Mall for about half what I paid to wait and be inconvenienced. I shopped for 20 minutes while they popped on the new case. I attempted to explain how much I wished Bitz had tried to work with me to no avail as I walked out with my first new case. Lesson learned, at least by me.

We decided to take it to Riddle's Jewelry in the mall to see if they would do it for us. We agreed that if they'd take care of it for a reasonable price, we'd do it. Upon arriving, they looked at it within 2 minutes of us walking in and asked us to stop back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, the ring was polished, the prong was fixed and they didn't charge us a dime! Couldn't be happier with our experience here! Thanks, Riddle's!

Excellent service and impeccable attention to detail. My Father passed away in San Francisco, CA…read moreand told us to coordinate with Thomas Family Funeral Home when the time came. I was apprehensive to call the funeral home at 2 am on a week night, but did anyway as we needed help with arrangements and were clueless about the effort involved to transport across state lines, etc. They answer the phone in person 24 hours a day and provide the most sincere comfort and guidance during a very stressful and traumatizing time. Brian, Brad, and Mark were very sensitive to our concerns and took care of every detail to bring our Father to rest in Minot. They offer a private viewing for the family to come to terms with the departed. My Father had lost 60 pounds in the last year and his facial features had changed. Thomas made some adjustments to present him in a very peaceful way. All of the planning for the viewing, funeral, and burial was coordinated by Thomas funeral home, which allowed for a single point of contact. They also made sure my Father received military honors during the funeral service and taped the service and burial at Benedict rural cemetery. I know Brad and his team were working at 6 am the day of the funeral. They blocked out parking for the family at the church and set up a wind barrier at Benedict cemetery for us. There are so many other details to their service, trust me when I say they are the best. I have never encountered a funeral home in CA that covered all the bases or even provided a professional service at this level. Thomas family funeral home is extremely thoughtful about the death process and providing the very best. We highly recommend them!

There was no detail left undone, there was never an unanswered phone call, there was never a 'no' to my many last minute ideas. They made me feel like I was their only client and my mom was their primary concern. Her viewing and funeral service were flawless and they facilitated a local motorcycle group's request to escort my mom's processional to the cemetery. They didn't blink an eye when I asked to watch my mom's casket being lowered into her vault and the vault lid closed. And they continued to work with me because it's not over once the funeral is over. If you have never buried a loved one that comes as a bit of a shock - death certificates, thank you notes, social security ... it seems like it never ends but they never gave up on me and STILL always answer my calls. You can depend on these guys and trust me, that's exactly what you'll need when you find yourself in this situation. I cannot thank them enough. Ever.
