I run a small business that sends out about a 1-2 thousand packages a year but this post office I…read moreavoid most of the time even though my shop is four blocks from it. They constantly lose packages because they refuse to scan prepaid items in if they don't feel like it (funny how every time they do this, one of the packages never makes it into the system and there's "nothing they can do") and they constantly miss scheduled mail pickups for us small businesses. The employees are RUDE, they typically try to close early, and parking is just awful. It's so sad to be a small business owner that can't rely on the local post office.

Parking is street and not easy to count on. These are the types of POs that can cause people to be irritated by the whole system. But 3 stars because they do do their job. Just not always fast, and not always with a smile.

This is a small town place, they know everyone, and they also know whats going on around town. So if you need to learn anything, this is the spot to stop in. They always have stamps, can always mail something for you, help you find the right box and really make it a pleasant experience. Its a totally different feel in the country. Many of these offices are currently at risk of closing, but for many local people its one of their main sources of information, interaction and the like. Its important they remain open in these small town country areas.

This post office always had good stamp choices and very pleasant staff. On occasion it gets busy, but the line moves along just fine. Parking is only ok here.

If this is the same place you come to register your car it's good. Organized. Same DMV thing…read morewhere you go into line first where they give you the paperwork you need and then a number that will get called. Even though once or twice I've been the only one there my number was not called immediately. But the seating is fine and the heating/cooling is effective. All good.

They get measured on the number of transactions, and with so many under threat of closing, each transaction counts. Across from the Stewarts and next to a small take out place.

I needed a secure place to receive packages, and this fit my needs. The place is small, but well…read moreorganized. Just about anything you could need (notary, fingerprinting, packaging and shipping, faxes, copying) is right here. Highly recommended.
