I needed to ship a package to Florida right away, I was told that the fastest shipping would be overnight and it would be $145.00. I gave the clerk the information to the person I was shipping it to and for, but the clerk insisted on taking my name and not the person of the name that I expressed it should be in. The clerk also typed in the wrong address and I was not aware of this until I put in my original complaint: Clerk charged me 145.00 for air/overnight shipping other wise it would have taken 3-5 business days for $15.00. Well the package did not arrive until 3-5 business days later. When I made a complaint to the store I was told by Lisa the manager that she would look int to the issue, Lisa did go ahead and filed a complaint with UPS to refund me the difference of air shipping, but did not bother reaching out to me to verify any of the mailing information, and also put the request in under the wrong name. I have yet to receive a refund almost 2 months later. Every time I speak or reach out to Lisa, she refuses to help and says just contact the post office instead of accepting that she mismanaged the process, by not reaching out to me and getting clarification on the mailing address or the addressee. She has given me wrong phone numbers for the claims department and refuses to help. This is not a person I would want managing my store, since good customer service is most important to any business. Such a long line, it was out the door. No one to direct you. There is a machine by the door, but there was a line there also. They have 3 people behind the counter. Just a suggestion... There should be an express line if someone has their package sealed and ready to go. This was not an Amazon return. I am tracking my package because the lady behind the double counter was not very customer friendly (to me at least) and I have yet to receive an email from the company that they received my return. I never had issues here until Saturday. The guy with the mask on was polite. Then he asked me if I would like a receipt for the package I was dropping off. That's when he may have got an attitude with me. He might have been just been trying to be funny about the circular hand flailing moves that he used to give me the receipt. Maybe I misunderstood stood so I gave him a look. Then as I was walking out he called me back with his eyes wide open and asked excuse me sir did you say something. I step up to him and said no, why. He responded with something about his mask. I replied now you've got me here what are you going to do about it. He got nasty and I called him a D.B. Then he told me to please leave. This store off of Route 211 Middletown NY needs some serious attention. I just gave up waiting for the second time because of the usual long line and slow staff. No sense of urgency by any one of the three, yes three staff. That should be enough staff to move that line a lot quicker, but they are almost in reverse. A few suggestions...have a dedicated Amazon drop off so a quick in and out. If you won't do that, at least hire staff with a pulse. I will choose Kohls for Amazon returns from now on. read more

Needed to go here to make an Amazon return. If we wanted Amazon to make us a label to drop off locally for UPS it would cost us $6.99. So we drove over 15 miles to this location to have it done for free. Was a quick and easy transaction. read more

The reason I am giving the UPS store 3 stars is because they don't have enough staff working, the place in my opinion isn't big enough for the amount of people that go there. The lines 90% of the time are wrapped around inside the place because you get yelled at if your waiting in the doorway. And at times the people that are working there are kinda nasty although they literally are non stop because of being short staffed. read more

I stop by today 8/27/21 in the morning to drop off some UPS returns for my wife and the man upfront was kind enough to help me sort though my labels. I use reading glasses and I was not able to see the tracking information on my phone and I asked him to assist and he did. Overall I appreciate their patience and it's not easy to deal with customers overall (speaking as a customer). We need this UPS store and I hope they keep up the good work. I work for an IT business and patience is always key, and at the end of the day, it's nice to know that I was useful in some way. As far as negative reviews, there's nothing I can say. As customers, we need to read our labels, make sure things that need to be packaged are packed, and hope for a smooth transition. read more

They really need to speed up the process of moving customers in & out quickly. Some people have to get to other places and don't have time to stand on line for 20-25 minutes to simply ship a package that already has a barcode..it is the only UPS store in the area. The gentleman who works here is friendly and doing what he can to make it a reasonable experience but it's just not enough. They need to hire more employees. Why can't they have separate lines for drop offs where you can scan it in yourself if you already have the QR code and just get a printed receipt. Always such a hassle. Can read more

This is the first time I ever had a large 36" x 48" PDF file printed. I had called the store a few times to ask how it's done/what I needed. I got all the information and when I asked for a "ballpark price" the man said about $11.00 And I said I could do that. The next day I bring in the drive and the woman rings it up for $33.94!!! When I told her the price I was quoted, she and another store associate stated the person made a mistake. NO KIDDING! I mean I could understand ballpark, and maybe it costing around $18...but not $34.00 I needed this poster because it is for my daughters first baby, first grandchild for the family and we wanted to make her virtual baby shower super special. So I caved and paid in full. Later that afternoon I got a call saying the poster was ready, but there were some missing black areas on the bottom. She said I could probably touch it up myself. I said ok and very excited to get the print. When I got there and I saw the poster, IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! I believe it was the manager speaking to me this time and she blamed the file/person who sent me the file. She said she had printed it twice with the same result. She mentioned something about "layering incorrectly"... and for an additional $25 her guy could fix the file. She said to go back to the person I got the file from. When I contacted ESTY I was told it impossible. ITS NOT A LAYERED FILE. My ESTY shop owner mentioned she has been a graphic designer for 20 years and has never had an issue with any digital files. She has all great reviews on her site. She mentioned that it looks like a fuser issue with the mechanics of the printer. So Ill be going to another printing shop and contacting the BBB about the location. read more

Called the day before to make sure they would be open. Drove 40 mins to ship a prelabled package. Woman comes to work at 8:30 the time they told me they would be open and says we don't open until 9:00. Won't let me leave the package! In these unsettling times all I can say is God Bless. When the rest of the country looks up New Yorker her pictures is there. She was more worried about picking up change she found in the parking lot. Love humanity. I did not try to push my way in and if you had watched a tape you would have seen that all I did was pick the box up I had taken out of my vehicle waiting for the store to open as I was told the day before when i called. I don't know how many wedding rings your clerk has but she picked up at least five things in the parking lot where a van was when I arrived that was picking screws up from the business next to you. Great job turning this into and advertisement for your good will to the community. I found a very nice store that my family will be using in the future. Staff ignores UPS corporate policy. They wouldn't release a package to a spouse who had a matching ID of the shipping address and tracking number. They still wouldn't release even after the shipper asked them to. This is per UPS policy that the package should be released with this information but they refused and were unhelpful. read more

Sketchy. I went in with a package to mail and the guy hands me this crooked Xerox copy of a form to sign basically saying they're not liable for anything that happens to my package. Then he wants me to write down what's in the box. (This is not for an international shipment, mind you. I know about customs declarations, and this wasn't one. And I didn't ask for additional insurance or anything like that.) So basically you want me to tell you it's fine if it disappears, AND tell you what's in it? Why don't I just hand you the stuff without a box, and you can decide whether you want to steal it or send it along? I don't think so. I wouldn't sign it, so he handed me back my package and that was that. I went to a different UPS store and shipped it with absolutely no problem. They need to update their website. I needed a Notary and was told they do not have a Notary. The employee then suggested I go to a bank because they have notaries there. I'm so impressed that she was able to come up with that suggestion all own her own. Really, of course they do but not at 6pm on a Friday. What upset me the most is both employees were in a rush and were trying their best to get rid of the customers as fast as they could because closing time was getting close and you could tell that's all they were concerned about. What I really did not appreciate is they were talking about other customers right in front of me. That is it not professional and it's rude. You would think they had enough common sense not to do it in front of other customers but I guess that's too much to ask for. I've never had a problem here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and every transaction I've had has been smooth as could be. They sell packing supplies as well, so if you want to pack something yourself you can, or you can pay to have them do it for you. As far as the previous review, of course they have to know what is in the box - you have to declare stuff like that at the post office too. A place like he says he took it to sounds sketchy - someone could be shipping prohibited items like drugs and they would never know. read more
