She told me the best way to expedite my packages with the last one being an item for a funeral that I needed to be rushed to Montana over the weekend. This is ridiculous driver hasn't even been to our location and already claimed insecure drop off location. We open at 8 I was here at 745 and 810 she claimed that on the tracking update. She does this every single time. The lady in the green jeep. She's just lazy. I see there is multiple complaints about this very same problem but they refuse to do anything about it. No attempt to deliver package was made. Driver put a missed delivery note in the mailbox without coming to the door. A redelivery was scheduled with a confirmation number and was completely ignored. The package had to be picked up at my cost and time. These services are included with the cost of using USPS as a carrier. Deliberate non-service on the part of this office is theft, plain and simple. read more

The associate working there went out of his way to help me out. This is a great post office.

Update your hours. I drove all the way here because website/yelp says open until 2 today. It's 1:30. The door says closed in Saturday's.

Other than all post offices taking a long time in line- this location is the only I think but also the most convenient location for me to go to. I have been going to this USPS for quite some years and never had a problem with it. read more

Terrible service. Waited in line while Counter person talked laundry to the previous customer. No wonder USPS is a terrible place to work.

Grossfully inept service at such a slow speed and really annoying front desk worker. 20 minutes to get to counter and I was third in line. The lady just kept talking and talking and talking really loud and typed like 5 words per minute. Absolutely embarrassing how slow and annoying the service was. When I left, there were 7 people in line and I'm sure everyone knows the desk lady's life story from spending 40 minutes in line. read more

This is the most frustrating experience I have ever encountered in a post office. Just moved in the area and within the last week I was here 3 times trying to get the personnel from this post office to release the number from my mail box . Every visit here same thing long lines, 7-15 people in line and only one cashier. This is ridiculous. read more

Had to call an 800 just to get the local number which took time, then called the local office, just to have a recording tell me to call the other office..called that office just to go right to a recording that said to call back during normal business hours..its 11am. Y'all are disorganized and un reliable. Government needs to pay you more obviously. Thanks obama. read more

Be prepared, they are always busy and there is always a line. It's really hit or miss when it comes to not being packed. I was never that lucky, I think only once there was no line. Service is friendly and helpful. Only thing I think is strange is the drive up drop box for mail. It's always a cluster (beep) trying to drop mail off. People going in the wrong way, drive way blocked. It is very annoying. Don't go after work unless ou want to have a drink at the bar afterwards! Lol read more

Gotta disagree with most of the reviews for this post office. Its my fave and Ive lived in the area for years. Even when I moved recently I still choose to go to this one over the other one thats technically closer. Reason being? They have always been really nice, make me laugh and have great customer service. Even have gone out of their way more than once to contact the mail carrier to make sure something gets delivered to me on time. As for the lines, long wait and not enough people at the counter? C'mon this is the USPS after all. read more

No integrity with this post office. I paid for postage with two names on the address one of the names moved and had their mailed fwd to a new address because of this they charge me twice what is less than a 20min drive to the new address I talk to the manager "Jewell" I ask her to do think it's fair to charge me twice even if the other post office said there would be no problem because both names were on the address and it was still fwd even though we wanted to make sure it wasn't. Jewell responded "yes it is fair" I refused to pay the. They stated it would go to the dead office and get destroyed and I said go ahead. Jewell then stated she was going to return it to the return address and I would be charged anyways. I paid stating I will never do business with the post office again. I will stand by it. FedEx and UPS only for me. I see why they are losing so much money and customers each year. They could of at least called the other post office. One bad experience can cost them thousands of dollars over a life time. read more

This location has a full service window, as well as self-service shipping machines. Not bad, but you'll probably want to get there at a non-peak time. It's off of busy Meridian, and I have seen the line to the window go from a couple of people to about 15-20 in a matter of minutes. So depending on when you go, it might take longer than planned to get what you need done here. read more

Do not ever stop your mail to go on vacation, unless you like to receive your mail over 30 day's later. It happened to me twice. They will resume your regular mail, but what was on hold while you were gone will only show up after 30 day"s. Post master said he would plug the hole in the system, but he did not. After it happened the second time i was told he would call me when he returned to work after his day off. Of course he never did. Seems to be a chronic problem in that office, never had a problem when they were located in the old office. I do not believe it is happening at all location of the USPS. Tried to file a complaint at a higher level but found that to be nearly impossible to work with their system to do so. read more

Do not get excited when you see the "Express" lane. It says it is for folks with only one item but then they ask you if you want to buy stamps, or post cards, or packaging material, and of course it seems that everyone says yes. As a result, every one of these "single" transaction customers ends up being 5-10 minutes each. I was 3rd in line at the "Express" window and saw 6, yes 6, customers get served at the regular windows before I was able to get served. Then, the employee continued to interrupt me every time I opened my mouth. I just wanted to send a small flat rate box and she obviously missed the day they taught customer service! The most rude and condescending employee I have seen representing the USPS in a number of years. Next time, I'll pay the extra $5 and use UPS or FedEx. read more
