A package that was supposed to get delivered never did that day but did get delivered the next day 300 yards away from my home at the base of my driveway, out in the open where rain and sun could get to it. I would not have even known this was there if my neighbor hadn't seen it to walk it up to me. You can send delivery instructions a hundred times and the driver does not read them. Today again the driver shows up and does not try the left door which was unlocked at 10am. If it was locked the driver did not use the callbox. If they do get in the door they ignore the sign that says deliver directly to apartment. I hate this company. Truly horrible. If/when they manage to deliver at all, packages are completely trashed. In the past two months I have had two packages completely disappear and all but one of those that have been delivered have been so damaged that the shippers had to refund the orders. If they paid their contracted drivers properly, perhaps they might be able to get actual American citizens to deliver their parcels. This company is a joke. My package was supposed to be delivered Monday. At 9pm it was updated saying it was delayed because "they attempted delivery but need an access code". My address is a house on an open street. There is no access code or unit number or any specific instructions. It's a house. Well after searching forever, I found a texting only number. They were a joke too. All they could do was read the tracking, ask me for the info that they don't need to begin with and then claim they were forwarding the info to the facility with delivery in another 1-2 days. (Which if it comes will be 3-4 days late) My house is easy to find so their claim it's hard to access is a blatant lie. They won't let me go pick it up (I live 4 minutes from the facility) and there is no number to call. They make it impossible to talk to and when you can they are no help and they hire drivers that can't follow simple directions. I'll be lucky to receive my package at all. NEVER use this company. In November, I ordered a tool from Home Depot. It arrived in Spokane on November 31 and sat there for a month before it was "lost". During that month, I contacted OnTrac and was told that I would be contacted by OnTrac with an update; that never happened. I contacted Home Depot several times and whereas they were very helpful (and also frustrated with OnTrac), all they could do was contact the shipper; which they purportedly did. Finally, on December 28, I received a "consignment lost" notification from OnTrac. I contacted Home Depot and they re-submitted my order. I begged them not to ship via OnTrac, however they stated that they didn't choose who the shipper was. This time, the order shipped on 12/28 and arrived in Spokane on 12/31. It was scheduled for delivery on 01/03, however is still in Spokane on 01/11. I called OnTrac and got the same BS. I spoke with a manager at OnTrac and was told that I would be contacted with an update (heard that before). When I asked to speak with the manager's supervisor, she told me that wasn't an option. Currently, my elderly mother's package (containing her medical supplies) has been sitting in the Spokane warehouse for 2 weeks. OnTrac won't answer the phone. VERY lazy driver left the less-than-one-pound package at the foot of my driveway on a busy road where anyone could've leaned out of their car and picked it up. Left there late at night, on a frozen puddle, which was thawed by the time I found it next morning. So the box was SITTING IN WATER and soaked through. Living in an apartment complex they will not deliver and drop off to assigned apartment rather they leave the boxes outside. The number of stolen/missing boxes that have been delivered are way too high. Even to the point that I am waiting for my package an hour before and after the estimated time for drop off. The last delivery I had the opened my package and pretty much took all of the contents inside of it and taped it back up. If I could give less than one star I would. I have had 4 deliveries marked as delivered that I have never received. One delivery was supposedly dropped off at my alley-side doorway at 9:48 pm and another at 11:47 pm. This is not acceptable business practice - especially with the number of "porch-pirates" that have taken over Spokane. On another occasion I had a package marked as delivered when it was not. I called to tell OnTrac that it had not been received and was told that their system showed it as delivered. The next day, and for several days thereafter, tracking showed it as "out for delivery." Then I got a message from OnTrac saying that the merchandise had been returned to the vendor based on "vendor recall" (probably because the vendor had graciously sent me a new product after waiting nearly 3 weeks). Surprisingly, the day after the product was returned to the vendor it showed up on my doorstep. When I have tried to contact the company by phone I get no answer or am forced to leave a voicemail that is never returned. When I leave an online report I get a canned reply that says they cannot do anything. This is the worst delivery I've experienced in my 80 years of life. I've received 4 different packages by OnTrac that were placed on my driveway in front of my garage. Why the OnTrac person thought that was a good idea instead of walking a few more steps to place the package on my front porch which is covered is beyond comprehension. The packages were placed late at night on the driveway rather than on the front porch where the light was on and the porch was covered so that packages would be protected. Where is the thinking on this? All deliveries by FEDEX, UPS and the USPS are responsible and leave packages on the front porch. Who trains your people? It doesn't take much brain capacity to understand that no one opens their garage door very often as it is not the front door. My garage door opens on garbage day and once a week for grocery shopping/errands. Leaving a package out for thieves, or the weather elements is absolutely stupid.
