I have lived here for almost 6 years and in that time I have had my mail torn, on the floor of our…read moremailbox foyer at my condo bldg, crumpled pieces of mail in my mail slot etc... Recently I had to travel out of state to care for my sister in hospice and had put a stop mail order in, specifying that mail be held until I personally pick it up on Thurs 3/3. After a 10 hour journey home I hurried to this branch to p/u only to be told they don't have any mail held for me and have no idea if it was all delivered or where it could be! I was treated like I was imposing on them by even questioning them. They are consistently rude, slow, unconcerned, uninformative and unwilling to give any information or service. I have spoken to them several times about problems with mail only to be told to have the condo assoc buy new mailboxes. How in the world will that improve their service?? I had something I had to send overseas and was turned down the first visit ( because they said it was closing time) even tho they didn't for another 20 minutes! On my second visit I was given a paper to fill out and told to come back. Third visit I was told I didn't need the custom paper and had to start over! There is one woman there who acts so exasperated when you walk in, and so unwilling to help you navigate rates, options, delivery times that you want to leap over the counter and do it yourself! They need a trained new staff there...people who actually take an interest in their chosen job and perform the duties!!! horrible experiences there minus 20 stars rating if there was such a thing

It was great seeing the "old fashioned" post office boxes from years past...a really nice vintage look. The building is beautiful, the actual post office area is located in a 2+1⁄2-story brick building that was built in 1930. The main facade has a loggia-style arcade of three arches on the first level, leading to a recessed entrance. The second story has three large windows across, and the gable end has an oculus window and dentil moulding. The building is crowned by a cupola. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The woman who helped me had her math work cut out for her. And she was amazing and friendly and way better at math than me. I really appreciated the effort the post office put into helping me get 34¢ of stamps per postcard. The building was a nice handicapped accessible brick structure.
