From the moment we entered the Post Office we were greeted by the postal employees who gave us all the information we needed and actually held a conversation with us unlike some of the other Post Offices we have visited in the past. But after about a month and a half of going here every couple of days there was a new lady that started shipping the stuff for me. She is an mid aged woman and she is extremely rude. She has an attitude for even the slightest question you ask. She charged me extra for priority mail when I specifically asked for media mail, because the box had USPS watermarks on it. Absolute terrible service unless you're another 60 year old woman with a crotchety attitude. You're better off going a little further into town to west wareham if you want to ship something. 0/10 stars. Do not recommend.

It was great seeing the "old fashioned" post office boxes from years past...a really nice vintage look. The building is beautiful, the actual post office area is located in a 2+1⁄2-story brick building that was built in 1930. The main facade has a loggia-style arcade of three arches on the first level, leading to a recessed entrance. The second story has three large windows across, and the gable end has an oculus window and dentil moulding. The building is crowned by a cupola. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The woman who helped me had her math work cut out for her. And she was amazing and friendly and way better at math than me. My friend will be getting some fun tourist postcards filed with tons of lovely stamps. I think I forgot to address the one for Lisa though. I really appreciated the effort the post office put into helping me get 34¢ of stamps per postcard. The building was a nice handicapped accessible brick structure.

I am starting a new business and am learning the best way to ship things, and they have not only not helped with this but act like I should know exactly what to do with the packages when I am far from an expert and make everything seem like it's my fault. I'm sorry I do not know the ins and outs of the US mail system... they act like I should be reading the US mail manual and have it memorized before i step foot in this place. I'd advise not going to this location. Also, what's with how at post offices now they don't let you use any of their tape? Really?
