I am very disappointed with the mail delivery service. This is the second time the mail carrier has claimed that no one was home for a required signature delivery, which is simply not true. Instead of attempting delivery, he left a notice in the mailbox. What makes this even more concerning is that we have security cameras at the front of our house facing both the front door and the mailbox. The video clearly shows that the mail carrier never came to the door or attempted to obtain a signature before leaving the notice. Additionally, another envelope that required a signature was simply placed in the mailbox without any signature being collected. This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Important mail should be handled according to postal procedures, and customers should be able to trust that delivery attempts are being made honestly and correctly. They delivered a package to the wrong address, an expensive package that had to be signed for, and won't take responsibility for their mistake. They clearly did not look at the zip code...because we have lived here for over 20 years. So now we have to reach out to the seller because the post office stinks. I also had an appointment for to get a passport, it's one of the few locations that do the pictures too. They called me the day before to cancel my appointment, and told me I could go to a walk in one...that was about 45 minutes away. And of course he just thought it was no big deal...it was a big deal, and delivering the package to the wrong location is also a big deal. Slowest USPS. They really need to hire people to add a second person as a cashier. I would advise going somewhere else.

I've been to this post office three times so far, looking for boxes for mailing. Every single time their shelves looks like a retail store on Black Friday at closing time. No one restocks. I don't know how USPS is supposed to compete with UPS and FedEx when they don't provide materials needed by their customers. read more

Our mail carrier lost the key to the larger item mailbox at our cluster mailboxes. We have an item that was delivered two weeks ago and no one at this branch has been able to help us. Today, I was informed that the several people we have spoken to I the last two weeks no longer work there and no one knows anything about this situation. Finally, I get a lady to agree to fill out a work order that will take at least seven days to process. I hope this is really being done. This is my go-to Post Office! Even though I live in KCK, I refuse to go to the Argentine P.O. because of two past issues with them. The postal workers are friendly & efficient and are always willing to answer questions if you have them. The Auto Postage Machine in the lobby is great if you need to send something or get stamps and the P.O. is closed for the day. read more

There's probably no such thing as a good Post Office. I get that, and I really don't expect much. But this place is a DUMP. Always a line out the door. Always. At all hours. Their shipping kiosk is so poorly calibrated you almost can't press the correct key, and it requires the force of a hammer to register. Handwritten notes all over the place about how this-and-that is out of order. The drop box is out of order. That's right, the DROP BOX. The literal hole in the wall you drop mail through. That's out of order. So get in line. Maybe you'll get to drop off your package this week. If you don't succumb to the stench of stale cigarettes and dandruff first, that is. read more

I can't believe I am writing a review on a Post Office. But it needs to be done so people can stay the hell away from this branch. Okay its Monday morning. Just dropped off my child at school and decided to stop off at the nearest PO to send a package. Normally I go to the one on 87th Street in Lenexa, but this branch happens to be closer to my location. It's 8:15 am. Post office opens at 8:30 am. The sign on the door says it opens at 8:30 am. So I wait in the car. 8:30 rolls around I go into the lobby area. Two other humans are inside ahead of me. No problem. The lights are off in the retail area. I can hear more humans scurrying around the back,even some laughter. Ten minute go by, the light in the retail section is still dark. The other human calls his post office friend asking if its a post office holiday. It is not. Twenty minutes go by and one less human in the lobby. It's still NOT open. Sigh. No wonder the post office is bleeding money. I leave and go to the 87th location. Guess what, they are OPEN. Please save your sanity and never go to this branch EVER. Even if it saves you 5 mins of driving. read more
