I needed to overnight one little piece of paper so I googled the closest post office to me and found this address and put it in my GPS---well I drove past it several times because it is disguised in a plazza as a music store and guess what----it is a music store.....I went in and it very strange as there is a little counter in the front that is a post office HOWEVER they don't provide overnight service.....There were four older men in there just hanging out and two cats and a ton of sheet music and guitars and drum symbols....I am giving these gents four stars because they were very helpful to this damsel in distress by calling to another local post office and making sure that if I ventured a little further I could indeed get my letter sent via overnight---they then proceeded to give me directions to Barnhardt post office.....I have since noticed that this plaza is located in a small area named OTTO and in the plaza is a little barber shop I sent my husband to and he declared they gave him one of the best haircuts he has had in quite some time and it was only 12.00 what a deal.....I am digging my new little community....

Barnhart Postal Worker Named Lynn---who do you think you are??????? I am a grown-ass woman and…read moredon't need a lecture from you on what to do and what not to do...... Let me explain---I know that my mail comes from here because I stopped in this location once before to send something priority/next day. The woman behind the counter was inappropriate in my opinion as she was inquiring if i rent or own my house and was rather condescending in her tone to me as she let me know straight up that she knew who the previous owners where. I don't really care as it is my house now and really did not care for her acting like she knows my business. So I got a piece of mail last week that looked important as it came from a social service agency and it was hand addressed to some name I haven't seen before and do not recognize as a previous owner. I put one line thru the name and circles the return address and wrote return to sender no such person at address. I am just guessing that is what most of us would do. If I simply put it back in the box they will leave it there as I have tried this before and it has sat for 5 days straight. Moving along in this story......I get a handwritten note stating that they would like me to refrain from defacing the mail....and proceeded to state that they don't think I would appreciate it if somebody did this to my mail......that last part put me right over the edge.....WTF-----???? I say again WTF????-----I am ready to go "postal" on a postal worker.......the nerve of that bitch to try and "parent" me.....really.....this has me seeing RED.....and unfortunately I don't get to choose where my mail is delivered from but I don't have to go to them for other services.....Yeah I'm attaching a picture of the lovely note she put in my box---by the way isn't it a crime to put things in peoples mailboxes if it isn't mail????

It looks completely inaccessible for someone with a walker or wheelchair. However, I did find that if you go along the right side of the building, you can get to a ramp, but then you have to walk a long way to get around to the doors. I never would have found that access (it isn't marked on the front of the building) if I didn't need to turn my van around. I haven't been in this building since before I had mobility issues. But every time my husband gets back in the car after picking up a package or whatever, he's alway mumbling "Idiots!" or "Still idiots" when he gets back in the car. So, I'm guessing the customer service has not improved since the previous review.

For a small town south of a large metropolitan area, there is not much more I could ask of this…read morelocation. (Note that the main branch is located in Arnold, a short drive north of this location.) They offer plenty of activities to bring in teens, adults, and families. The children section has a variety of series to get young readers interested in more reading. Good amount of sitting spots are present along with computers to search the catalog. Self check-out is available, and electronic "receipts" are optional. If the book you want is not there, the computer systems allows library card holders to access books from other libraries "on loan." (ID required to get a library card.) A clothing donation drop-off is located in the parking lot. Now for the more personal side of things. What brought a smile to my face was the cultural breath of the CDs along with modern ones like Taylor Swift. What made me feel at home were the ladies behind the counter who left me use their whole-punch (on more than one occasion) since I couldn't find mine at home. What impressed me is their collection of business/career related books which helped me study over the summers. I write these things, some of them seemingly obvious for a library's inventory, because it occasionally feels like this type of public space is not fully utilized by many communities. So, before buying a resource (for personal, school, or business), see if the local library has what you need. At the end of the day, libraries allows people to save some money and feel a part of a community.

Very impressed with the personal attention to detail. Burying a loved one is a most difficult…read moreperiod in one's life. You need a funeral director who has a reputation for trustworthiness. Bob Brown is that man. My brother and sister met with Bob to begin the process and he handled all the details from there. And at a very reasonable price! Bob was there in person for the visitation, funeral and gravesite service. He was like a longtime personal friend and he genuinely cared. He clearly understood the significance of the grieving process and how his handling of the arrangements would make this a special and memorable event in the lives of family members. One pleasant surprise was Bob arranging for the Air Force Honor Guard. Our father served in the Air Force in the 1950's. With all that was going on it completely slipped our mind. The Honor Guard was there in full regalia to bestow military honors on our 90 year old father. All the young grandsons were impressed with the three volleys of rifle fire, playing taps and the precision of folding the American flag and presentation to the family. Bob had the presence of mind to collect the .30-06 shells, which were still warm, and hand them to the parents of grandsons. My boys were so excited when I gave them theirs! Thank you Bob! Finally, Bob and his team did an amazing job in preparing the body for viewing! Dad looked great and so peaceful. Rev Robert T Winter is in Heaven now and I know he would approve this review.
