I have 2 great-grandsons living in Milford on Harrier Court. I continue to have the mail returned, saying that there is no such street. I send it out in time to be received on their birthday, but that doesn't happen. What is the problem with that street name. I have verified the address a couple of time, and this still happens. I love this post office so much... And it's definitely the good feeling I get from the all the workers the energy is very positive and uplifting! As my younger son put it"I see what you mean mom it feels good in here"!!! I also like the partition the floor plan and the boxes the way it has a rounded wall. I got a pink slip in my mailbox that was checkmark saying there was a letter at the post office so my husband went down to get it wondering why it was a letter at the post office and not put in my mailbox, well he came home with a box with a 90 day supply of insulin in it which was not refrigerated for days even though it said perishable on the box and now it all went bad and all the person at the post office did was shrug there shoulders as if to say 'we don't really care so drop dead'. People who are complaining about Milford Post Office never left the state of Pennsylvania. I just moved from Brooklyn where all the facilities look like a war zone. Literally, they all look like from the 1/3 world. People are awful and dismissive over there. In Milford Post Office, people are always courteous and I don't have to wait for hours to get my mail or a parcel. The facility is clean, which you only notice when you come from another part of the country. People who work there work 6 days a week for a ridiculous salary. So please, stop complaining because you had a problem once. Don't make a statement from a sole incident. read more

Mail and packages go missing often. When you call to inquire they take your number and NEVER call back. When I asked about my missing packages at the Milford Postoffice the response is "was it insured?, it says delivered" Not the point, the Carrier has ZERO accountability-- there are 20 row boxes, no one shares our last name, it's pathetic. Put packages in lock box to ensure delivery. Really, really awful customer service. Sadly, no one seems to care. read more

The people in the post office are really professional, fast and friendly. You feel when you walk into this branch that these people know what they are doing and they do it with ease and a smile. I can't believe the extremely poor customer service from our local Milford, PA US Post Office. For over a year, I have complained personally to employees and the local postmaster, along with written follow-up letters, but none of my actions have addressed the problems and issues in having my correspondence/parcels delivered to my home. These employees are the most unprofessional and unreliable personnel that you will ever come across. They simply don't care about good customer service or take any pride in their positions. Many times these workers have simply refused to deliver, saying they don't know the streets or my neighborhood location. When this happens you must drive a long distance down a mountain side and in to town to collect or pick up your correspondence or parcels. I wonder why it is that UPS, along with FedEx seem to have NO issues in delivering to my house. They even come in the pouring rain and in a snow storm, all the while with a smile on their faces. Meanwhile, our local postal workers can't even transport a simple box on a beautiful sunny day. Maybe Donald Trump can help us out here in Milford, Pa??? read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star!!!!! You barely get your mail and when it shows "delivered" it went to someone else who won't even admit it's not theirs!!!!!!!!! I have never been to the Milford PO, but the delivery service is the worst I have ever seen. I was waiting for a delivery from JC Penneys and when I did the tracking it showed it had been delivered to Stroudsburg and a delivery had been tempted. I contacted Penneys and they put on a trace and reshipped the items to me UPS. After a month from the original order date I received a slip in my mailbox stating there were some boxes at the PO. Now I have been waiting for a book that I ordered at the end of November. I contacted the bookclub and they can't even figure out the tracking info that the PO has entered. I live in a community where I have to pick up my mail at the entrance. They usually put in a key for boxed items to be pick up from the larger boxes. I have received other items, but can't figure out what happened with these 2, especially the book since it's small. My sister lives in the same community and she has had the same problem over the years. The Dingmans PO is the slowest moving facility I have ever been to. I use that one to drop off items since it's closer to me. There is always a line and it takes forever to get waited on. Yet, the Postal Service wonders why they are losing business. read more

We have lived in the Woodlands since 2002. We have a central mail delivery area, We have never locked our box since having it. ( No one with an individual mailbox along any of the back roads locks their mailbox at the end of their driveway.) why do I all of a sudden have to? The temporary delivery person on our route would not leave our mail because our box was not locked.My wife's medication that she was waiting for was sitting in the post office along with all the rest of our mail. With no explanation or notice that they were holding our mail. So with disregard for a person's health, My wife's medication was being kept from her. Does this same delivery person, If they put mail in the boxes in the post office check to see if all of the boxes are locked first? I will guarantee not read more

Except for today. I s/w Doreen over the phone about an issue and she was so helpful, quick, & professional that I almost dropped the phone. In 8 yrs I have never experienced this treatment from anyone in the Milford post office. I actually go out of my way to use the one in Matamoras where they are quick, friendly, and professional. I have always been supportive of the PO... sure stuff gets misdelivered sometimes, but look at the volume of work they do. Years ago the staff in Milford was friendly and nice. Now they are curt, overworked, and miserable. But this review is prompted by a specific problem I had receiving a package. It was coming from another country and I had been tracking it. It said they delivered it to a "lockerbox" (which is how my packages come... to a central box where the key is placed in my mailbox to retrieve it since they do not deliver mail to our actual homes... but that is a separate complaint.) I met the Mail Carrier who was curt and said to check with the Post Office to look on their shelves. I went to the PO who asked why the carrier didn't check all the boxes. Alot of finger pointing, no action to find my package. They did write up something asking the Carrier to check all the boxes, but nothing was found. So... the only conclusion that can be made is that the package DID go to the lockerbox, but she put the key into someone else's mailbox. So someone else has my package. It was something quite valuable that I bought for someone else... not my money. The sender/manufacturer shouldn't lose money on this, I shouldn't have to make it up, and the original person who wanted it shouldn't have to pay again. The PO acknowledges that it made it to the box. IT IS THEIR MISTAKE!! I was told there is nothing they can do, but I can go to the website to open a claim. But their "one size fits all" website won't allow me to submit a claim or even an inquiry with the info I have. SOOO, after spending an hour and a half waiting to speak with a representative, the bottom line is that because it wasn't insured, I am out of luck. The only thing I can hope for is that some honest soul will return it and not sell it on EBAY. From now on I am going to make it a POINT to go with DHL or UPS or FEDEX. No problem getting my packages from THEM and they bring it to my door! And I hope the loss of my little bit of business added to the thousands of other disgruntled customers will hurt them to the point that maybe they will clean up their act. read more

This is the worst postal facility I have ever had to deal with. My community has all of the mailboxes at the entrance to our development and we are constantly getting other people's mail as well as missing mail. We have paid for a years subscription to 5 different magazines that we have not seen since the summer. We have complained several times to Juan however he has done absolutely nothing to amend the situation. Our next complaint is going to the Operations manager. read more
