I went to the LOS Banos post office to renew my passport. when I entered the office there was one person at the counter getting her passport. Two employees, one man and one woman The person renewing was talking to the woman and the man idle. I started to go to the counter when the MAN gave me a dirty look. So I went back. Then the man starts helping the young lady getting her passport. I went up to the woman employee. I told her I was renewing my passport so she started giving me application and answering my questions. When I got to the part of photos I told employee I wanted to take the photo there and then I would go to my post office in Dos Palos CA to mail my renewel. This is when the man interrupted us and pretty much told me off. In a very sarcastic voice gold me. YOU CAN DO IT ALL AT THE DOS PALOS POST OFFICE AND GET YOUR PICTURE DONE AT Walgreens OR ANY OTHER STORE. I REPLIED THAT I DID NOT WANT TO DO THAT. HE SAID "THEN YOU DONT WANT A PASSPORT". I was stunned. First because he was listening to our conversation instead of listening and helping his client, and second, I am 92 years old and I have never been talked to like this by a public servant, not even the DMV,or any body else for that matter. I hope someone somewhere in this jurisdiction that will read this and take action. read more

I love this post office. Compared to the ones I used to go to in San Jose and LA this one is a dream. It's small, clean, and the staff are mostly pretty friendly. This is the only one in town so of course I'll be coming back even if I hated it. Good thing I like it! read more

Number of times they put mail in the wrong box and even the wrong street. Brought the mail to proper address my self since the currier seemed too busy on her phone than what mail goes into which box. Worst ever. read more

COVID-19 update: A neighbor saw me walking to the post offices boxes for our development. He had just seen the delivery person coughing all over the mail and mailboxes, and warned me. Supposedly the risk of COVID-19 from mail is very low. I am not taking any chances. I'll let the mail sit for several days, ensuring the virus is no longer active. Hopefully we will have a healthy delivery person next week. In general, this post office rates very low in my book. My first week here, they charged me over $50 for a new lock, on a brand new postbox that had, a brand new, never used lock. Yes, after complaining I got the $50 returned. Lucky for me, I saved the receipt. read more

I live in a apartment and anytime I get a package delivered with the post office the guy says he tried to deliver it but he didn't because I have a dog that barks when someone knocks. And I'm usually waiting for the package knowing it's supposed to get delivered. When it's ups or fed ex my package always gets delivered but not with the post office. read more

I live near the courthouse on G there's only two carriers that I truly adore! The short girl (sorry) she's amazing never messes up on our mail like some of them she's very respectful and nice positive attitude always has a smile on her face. My dad is a older man in his late 90s she always takes the mail directly to him. She's been doing this route for awhile hopefully we keep seeing her around! The other one is the guy with the long curly hair kind gentleman, respectful as well he always greets us and never rude! We haven't seen him in awhile but when he was here he did a great job too. We also get new people when we do get other people we get mis deliveries and there not kind like these too. These two have big hearts! As the inside, lots of rude people. There's a girl who always has her hair up who is kind then there's a guy who is very rude to customers! Every time I ask for postmaster they never direct me to him. read more

I don't get it! Why was my water bill payment got forwarded to Fresno and was returned back to us after 10 days of mailing? Now I have a late payment and might get charge for that too. That was so much for trying to pay ahead of time. The returned envelope had a sticker on the address window that says " return to sender, not deliverable as addressed unable to forward". Removing that sticker, it clearly says City of Los Banos with the complete address. The same thing happened with my daughter package in April. The package goes back and forth between Los Banos and Fresno 3X, then at the end it got lost. I could see how frustrated she was, trying to track her package for two weeks. I know we're not only one from Los Banos who experienced the same problem. But to make the story short, this issue need to be resolved as soon as possible. read more

This place needs to get rid of Gordon. So rude and literally said "I hate seeing people, I don't wanna see anyone ." I understand working customer service isn't easy but you can't be saying that on the clock in front of customers. There was also a lady in his line for the passport window because she needed help with her passport renewal. He tells her "well you're not getting in my line. You need to go to the other window." He then tells this other lady who needed help with getting her mail because there was no one at that window "well I'm just going to direct you to the same line for that window." There's no need to be so rude because you can say all these things without a bitchy tone. It's not our fault you hate your job but suck it up and be at least a little decent with people. Not asking for rainbows and smiles but just some common decency. read more

Sooo appparently you guys think it's ok to deliver packages that are open with missing items. Make it damn near fucking impossible to contact you unless it's through mail... I feel sooo disrespected right now. This is unacceptable. Don't understand why you would deliver this they way you did without an explanation. Or a notice that you guys found it that way. read more

This place really needs to step up your game in customer service. The customer service here is horrible I am new to Los Banos era. They return two of my boxes from Amazon one because they took forever to give me my keys also they knew that I had already registered in my current address they return my box simply because they couldn't hand it to me in my postal box. When they already knew my name was registered to that address so lazy to to look up and see that same name of the box is the same name that is registered to the address. I am signed up online proposal for USPS, they returned a box to the sender because it had one number a blurred number 185 Loma Linda with my name on it. the distribution center in Fresno went online searched that Specific USPS # which is registered to my my online account that has the correct address. Something This Postal Office could of just done. Look up the tracking the number and see it was mine. But no instead they said , can't see the number. Send it back. They don't even have a huge population / residents as big a Fresno , nor San Jose or San Francisco. Simply lazy , Un Professional. The Worst . USPS your need to step up your game. If you don't like your job . Then get out. I'm also reporting a complaint to corporate. read more

Customer service is horrible. My mailbox was broken and I went to the post office to let them know. The carrier continued to place mail in the broken box which anybody could have taken. The box was repaired but nobody knows who fixed it and I haven't been able to get my mail because they can't find a key. read more

probably the worst post office to go for anything related to passports. not only is the customer service is terrible, but they move as slow as snails. they canceled my appointment on the 26th because their servers were down, but they didn't bother to reschedule. i scheduled again for a few weeks out, but i've been coming into this town (i live about 20 miles out) and i've asked nicely to get my passport stuff done. keep in mind, i have all the needed documents, pictures, copies of ID & birth certificate, the process itself would take about 10 minutes. i've also came to this place during its less populated times, and have even offered to wait if someone comes and they have an appointment. the man doing the passports is probably the most rude, lazy employee, he had a tattoo on his arm, that's the only description i can remember. adding along to the blonde woman who cannot bother to properly wear a mask. she had a face shield on and she has it lifted up entirely, are covid rules not implemented here? a nice older woman had done my sister's passport as a walk in about last week because they were empty and she had all the required paperwork. again, the WORST of place to get any passport work done, wouldn't even want to go here for dropping off my mail. update: his name is Gordon. read more
