first of all they are located in the Save Mart shopping center next to Papa's Murphy's. they moved from the location on 6th st. my laptop just froze up on me. I took it to them and they cleaned it up. I signed up for their program that allows them to access my laptop on the first of each month to check and clear any suspicious activity. I am completely satisfied with their professionalism, customer interactions and above all, they are just great guys to work with. I would not recommend this place even though I've never been a customer. Called on a Thursday to explain my repair. Was told they have a waiting time but was a first come first serve basis. Opens at 10:00am so coming from out of town I arrived at 9:15am. Waited till 10:05am and got outta my car to go inside. So this prima donna comes to the door, unlocks it and starts in with an attitude. I procede to tell him my needs and he claims they don't do this type of repair. Then he says he will do it and call me in an hour for an update as he had someone on the phone with a conference call. I said that would be fine and I would just wait outside in my vehicle as I had nowhere to go in the big town of Los Banos. After a few eyerolls and some unintelligible comments under his breath I just comley said nevermind I'll go somewhere else. Maybe it was a Monday morning thing but I would bet it's an everyday occurrence. read more

First off they are not on 6th they are next to Papa Murphy's 1450 Mercy Spring. They moved. Both Dave's are awesome. Older Dave helped me with my mom who loves to click on everything and she gets virus after virus. He has a wonderful computer clean up deal where he will on the first of the month, remotely get on my mom's computer and cleans it up. Because I know she will still do everything I tell her NOT to do. And every month he cleans out a minimum of 7 viruses. So if you have elderly parents that have those magic fingers and swear "no I didn't do that" this is the best deal Dave has for a whole year every month on the first he cleans it up. Any questions he is available. I have a total tech subscription with Best Buy but forget it, I'm going to Dave. Honest, dependable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, efficient, and quick. I was stuck and could not fix my HP computer. I forgot the admin password, and I tried for 2 - 3 weeks to get around the password issue and boot my system, to no avail. My computer was bricked. A friend told me about this place. I walked in and was greeted by a nice young man, who listened to me explain what was going on with the computer and how frustrated I was with it. He assured me that they would be able to take care of this issue, and that the computer would be ready in 2 - 3 days. I felt relief that someone could get my computer working again, I was pulling into my driveway about 1 hour later, and received a call that my computer was ready to be picked up. I was surprised by the quick turn around, and immediately picked up my computer. I am so pleased with the repair. They took my bricked computer and gave it life again! A family member had their computer worked on here and some of the encrypted files were opened; their cloud data was restored without permission; and the people there won't take responsibility for their actions. My family called CVG and they were instructed to bring the computer back to have it put back on the "bench". I had my phone fixed and within a few days the screen cracked. The phone was not dropped or anything. I have no idea how it cracked again. I think the glass quality might not be very good because it is still cracking daily. The same thing happened with my sons phone and I didn't believe him until it happened to me. read more
