This review is for the Hayfork post office! I could not find the Hayfork post office on yelp so I…read moreposted here. I order a lot on Amazon that has tracking for packages. On Friday 8/14/15 I check my account and noticed that I had several packages listed as delivered at the post office. On Monday 8/17/15 at around 1:00 pm they still were not available for pick up because they have not finished sorting. A 2 day delay on sorting first class mail in your delivery post office is the worst service I've seen at any post office. In the past I have been a postmaster in rural Bay Area so I know what goes on in box delivery. The second problem is that I had my girl in my home for over a year during time I had gone to the post office in Hayfork and told them to add my girl friends name to my PO box. I found out that after all that time and my effort they still did not have her name on the box. POOR MANAGEMENT or POOR TRAINING or BOTH???

But with my new business, I'm in and out a few times a week. On about my third vistit, the woman at the counter says, "Hi Buzz! Hey, we got a piece of mail addressed to your new company yesterday, but the address was wrong and Shirley was about to return to sender. She asked me about it and I said, 'that's that new company, Eucephalus Environmental.' So I wrote the right address on it. You get it?" Sure enough, I get home and check the envelope, and the original street address is some street that I've never heard of, crossed out, with my actual address printed above. I go to this UPS store location if I'm in Redding, which I am a lot. It's located on Churn Creek…read moreRoad just up the street a little from the In N Out and Panda Express across the street. Lots of parking, so no prob. I've found the best way to use UPS is get an account and set of all the billing and then you can do shipping label printing at home or at the office. I work out of my house, so I don't have a regular UPS pick up, so I just print the shipping label and bring it down to the UPS store. Drop off, get a tracking receipt and off I go. If there's a line, someone usually asks and just drop offs? Yep, that's me and off I go. If you want the best price on shipping and you don't need it to get there the very next day, UPS is fine. If you want over night, gotta be there the next day, go FED EX, they're the overnight delivery people, but they're ground service is not so good. What's good about this location, is if you're hungry, there's lots of places to get all kinds of food right nearby, from Mod Pizza, to In N Out, to Chinese food at Panda Express.
