Finally I did. And this is what I found. This is a standalone building, with clearly marked hours, both the service window and the lobby (where the PO Boxes are). It was neat and well organized inside and outside. Easy parking, large lot. Everything you want in a Post Office.

And what makes our little post office exceptional are the people that work there. Every time I have ever needed to ship something out - I tend to leave UPS and FEDEX for other folks and I head right to my little post office down the street. I know that they will find the best way possible for my package at the very best price. Most of the time beating out the cost of the other two already mentioned. They have gone out of their way to take care of my shipping needs and they carry everything at the location I've ever needed. So - they are well stocked - professional and friendly and their hours I have found to be as good or better then most. I cannot find any issues with this location and that includes parking just feet away from the door and yes - they take credit cards too!

I've been having serious problems with my mail which goes through the Orchard Park, NY post office…read more 1. A charge bill payment and electric bill payment, both mailed together in OP on the same day, did not get to their destinations. I only found out when the electric co. sent a notice to turn off my power and the Visa co. charged me interest. 2. Three separate checks were sent together on the same day and not one of them got to their destination. 3. This month an obvious birthday card with lottery tickets inside was mailed inside the OP post office. It hasn't been seen since. 4. Another card with lottery tix was sent this month and also disappeared. I now have to send special cards in the large cardboard envelopes which can be tracked. Cost more for postage than the card is worth. Ridiculous!! Thieves in the post office and nobody seems to care.

This location at times gets very crowded and busy. Especially during the morning hours. Seniors…read morebuying stamps or complaining about mail service. They do have a Kios you can use for stamps and shipping labels. The lobby is also open 24 hours with a package drop off bin. To be frank people can do most of their USPS needs online or at the self Kios. Sure the clerks at times are grumpy but you deal with animated Seniors all day or people who don't know how to pack items to mail.

That said, since I have discovered it, I don't go to any other post office location (at least not if I'm leaving from home) because this one is so convenient. Plus, it has better weekend hours than the Post Office on Bailey. You can get stamps, mail packages, and do all the things you normally would at the Post Office but without the lines that I've encountered at pretty much every other Post Office. I don't think I've ever had more than one person in front of me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And if you need to get something from the Pharmacy while you're there, it's super convenient. Parking is easy, as is getting in and out of the lot. Yay for convenience and easy.
