I do a lot of shipping, no kidding, I'm at the post office at LEAST 4 times a week, so going to other places out in town was adding up, and we all want to ship for the best price possible. I mean shipping is super expensive, right? So the USPS does win when shipping domestically. And as long as it's under a certain size. I am able to go during the day when it's not super crowded, and I am always glad when I get Chucks window. He's friendly, pleasant to talk to, SUPER SPEEDY (FTW!) and always ask how my business is going, or how my son is doing if he's not with me. I appreciate his friendly banter and good attitude. Everyone else I've had the opportunity to deal with there is also pleasant. Unlike the other post office in town. This is the only post open on Saturday and it happens to be between 10 - 1PM. There is street parking and a private lot. Oh,and the Passport office is in the same building.

I have had tons of issues since my long time mail lady left my route about a year ago and I started getting these short term people that are constantly rotating routes. Even off of holiday season we were getting our mail at 8-9 PM and that is beyond ridiculous! As in implying if I paid for the pre stamped envelope, common sense would say how else would I get it? The only way to get a pre stamp envelope, is to purchase it directly from the employee. I already brought the pre stamp envelope with me before entering the store, that means the envelope is already paid for , then once I answered him yes, he purposely overcharged me, when I came in the day before when the nice bald headed employee with glasses rang up my total , it was $9.17 , the next day when the bald headed employee without the glasses rang me up, he overcharged me $10.47, which I thought it was very odd, I didn't question it, but I wanted to share this on Yelp, I will NEVER ever go to this location again. I have complained on line like I should, we have called. the email response I received stated maybe we should deliver it to a blue mailbox in front of the post office, and when I asked about incoming mail, they stated we should just get a P.O. Box. why should we, our mailbox worked great for years!!!! No, I think maybe your carrier should make a right hand turn, drive 100 feet to our mailbox and deliver the mail to all 16 businesses here at this address. What makes this even more frustrating is that the package contained personal belongings, and PostalAnnex has refused to refund or take responsibility for the items that were lost. Instead of trying to help resolve the situation, we were essentially told that the package was never there. Losing a customer's package is bad enough, but refusing to acknowledge that it was dropped off and refusing to take responsibility makes the situation even worse. I expected better customer service and accountability. I strongly recommend keeping documentation, receipts, tracking information, and any proof of drop-off if you use this location. Based on my experience, I will not be using PostalAnnex again.

Side note: One of those packages was going to a dear friend who just had a huge loss in her life and the piece I was commissioned to do was to commemorate them at the funeral. I gave myself enough time to ship it out so it arrived on time. I left after waiting a long while to finish up everything and got my tracking numbers. The first package arrived when it said it was going to (the one for the funeral) and she opened it and told me it was the wrong piece. I immediately called the store and Kim was very helpful in getting me new shipping labels to then send to each person and get them to resend each package. Very thankful for her help. I was informed that my inconvenience was noted and that a manager will reach out and follow up. It's been a few days and still haven't heard anything. I can have grace for the new trainee but this is when the importance of what's shipping comes into play, you never know as a customer service rep what's super important and what's not. This particular commission getting there late affects my business and makes me look bad for not getting it there on time. This person paid good money to receive this piece on time and was very disappointed. All of that being said, I will keep coming back, I won't let this deter me from support a local business but I share this experience more for the team. I know things happen and I'm really understanding, it just affected my business in a way that may make me reconsider if I should use their packing services and just package my pieces myself.
