Once inside, it appears humble in size compared to the grandiose exterior. I visited to mail some time sensitive thank you cards. I approached the young lady at the counter to inquire if these would go out the same afternoon. She was very friendly and assured me the cards would be mailed out the same day.

We just moved to Stamford a few weeks ago and have had several other deliveries yet none from the…read morelocal post office. We found out that the carrier had not wanted to deliver per my call to main Stamford PO. They told me he has been marking undeliverable due to snow & clearing of the driveway. I shoveled personally the driveway 3x last week and had a truck plow it 1x so it's virtually impossible that is is undeliverable every day without any attempt on his part. I am attaching a couple of photos as I shoveled again today with only 1 inch of snow and easier to walk on than neighboring houses that got delivery. I have complained to the PO staff about the carrier service yet they don't seem Interested in solving the problem with an uncooperative and unfriendly carrier that will not deliver the mail.

Kind of annoyed because I just went to ask for my mail and she said I needed ID. The one time I…read moreforget it. My boyfriend was outside with ID, ran in and no one asked HIM for ID. I go here weekly, he doesn't, and I've never been asked that. That was 2/12/19 afternoon. It's annoying that we can't even get in our PO Box ourselves! When we first got it, one mail guy couldn't even get it opened from our side. It's also unmarked! The older lady always just hands us the mail very kindly. Not sure what the issue is today.
