However, the employee who prompted this review, clearly wanted it. As this post office is usually packed, I prefer to use the self service machine. I have prepaid QR codes that I simply scan and I'm on my way. However, sometimes I need to buy packaging, which is a feature on the machine. The other day, I grabbed a bubble mailer and went to pay for it at the machine, like I have many times before. As I am approaching the door, one of the associates yells in front of everyone " you can't leave with that", insinuating that I was trying to take it without paying. I then informed him I was taking it to the machine so I could pay for it when I scanned my QR code. He continued to tell me I could not leave the store with it, although the machine is inside the store. As he proceeded to argue with me in front of everyone, I had no choice but to get in the long line to pay for my packaging. Once I reach the desk and he processed my transaction, a survey came up on the machine- he asked me "if I was going to click the red button since I was mad". So on top of accusing me of stealing, he been unprofessionally berated me about being unhappy of the situation and prompting me for a bad review. Anyway, per his request here is his review! I make it a point to buy my packaging elsewhere and never go into that store again.

No ability to leave a voicemail, nothing. Again Saturday morning I called as soon as they opened twice back to back and no answer and ability to leave a voicemail. This is extremely frustrating- especially when trying to figure out if you have a package sitting at the office, or if you need to take off work to be home to sign for it.

The small brick building isn't much but they have the usual postal services that you would expect - counters with clerks, post office boxes and supplies for sending packages. There is not an automated weighing and vending machine here. The young man behind the counter turns and pulls out the big book of international postage and counts out five stamps like it's an every day thing... smiles and offers a few encouraging words when I hand him the envelopes with postage affixed. Back in again when I got a notice for an undeliverable package: long lines of loud people moving kinda slow because customers seem ill prepared for the posting or receiving of parcels and letters. The clerks are doing a pretty good job with it all but are clearly not amused. I get to the counter produce my claim check and ID then fill out my address and sign in the box to get an oversize envelope of tax forms from a former employer... This location seems a little understaffed but I got in kinda close to closing both times. The clerks were polite, courteous, and efficient just like I've come to expect from the USPS. All in all a fairly decent experience at the post office.

Took a little hunting to find it because it is not on the main drag and you don't see the sign indicating Post Office till you turn off Business Hwy 16 onto Denver Rd. Normally the Priority Medium Sized and for that matter, all sized Boxes and Mailers and a bit removed so that you can grab them and go. There was a rack for Priority Mail Boxes in the Lobby. I would not have been surprised to find one size empty but all small, both medium and the large size were empty. There was not a single box or mailer in the stand. Called back after we left and notified them that they were empty. One I could understand but not all. They did apologize and say they would take care of. Meanwhile, looks like on Monday, I'm driving back to Cornelius where we just move from to pick up medium Priority Boxes and then back to mail them.
