Clerk #77 is the most awesome postal worker I've encountered. I came here to mail in my passport application and was unsure of what I needed to do. The clerk behind the desk (#77) was EXTREMELY knowledgable and guided me in the right direction. This might be her specialty with all the insight and expertise she had. It made me at ease and I was SUPER happy coming here. She even knew what amount to make the checks out for (passport fees, mailing fees, expedite fees, etc). My only issue was the parking which I had to take away 1 star for. They have a row of parking spots, and all were taken. When I walked inside, only 1 customer was before me. How could ALL of the spots be taken and only 1 customer?!?!?! read more

Very rude staff. They were so irritated just for having to help us, when I say help us I mean check us out at the register. That's literally all they had to do, yet acted like it was a huge ordeal. Get a different job maybe not in customer service. Would never come here again. Horrible attitude. Wish I could leave zero stars. read more

Girl working today at 1:11 pm with short hair is SO RUDE. Firstly trying to talk with customers with earphones in is not professional at all. Shes super ghetto. The guy named Cris is rude and miserable. Has a really bad attitude. How bad can this job be? Last time I heard the post office pays decent and has great benefits. This is actually my favorite post office in the area to go to. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. I've stopped in to simply purchase stamps, mail packages. I even got my daughter's first passport at this location. I've never had a problem when mailing a letter in the drive up mailboxes either. If you need an area post office this is definitely the location to go to. read more

My mom filed for address change more than 20 days ago. This morning I spoke to gorge road postal service and the supervisor told me that he called Kearney usps to see what happened being those are headquarters. Kearney office usps said no one contacted them on our matter and they saw the old case number and gave me a new one. Too many lies. I love Cliffside but this was a terrible service this morning and now they see my number and do not answer the phones. Way to go Cliffside Park Postal service . Bad bad bad, service. The 4:30 Trailer driver needs to grow up. He looks like hes 80 years old ready for retirement, yet hes so grumpy and acts/talks like a smartass 12 year old. Other than that, the rest of the employees do a great job. read more

The service is pretty quick here. The only thing that threw me off was that one of the workers helping me was not wearing a mask. I don't mind as I do not want to wear a mask either; however, the US Post Offices ask for all customers to wear one. Therefore, employees should also be mandated to wear one. read more

Need more clerks on the weekend. I'm looking for a party time job I will sign up and make those lines happier. The women who handled my packages had the WORST customer service. I've been using USPS for years and my friend worked for them for 50+ years and he retired with them in Seattle and they are amazing. For some reason its just not the same at this place. I was JUST picking up a package and waited 30 mins, and honestly I didn't care, but if I was running errands I would defiantly wait until the week day for this pick up. Also, I would like to add they do have dispensers in Seattle for stamps. Why can't you add these in there? Four people out of 6 people JUST wanted stamps. I will give this postal location this..... It's clean and nothing all over the place like in NYC. read more

Shipped a document on Thursday at approximately noon next day air, assured it would arrive the next day. It still wasn't there on Monday. $26+ wasted. The post office strikes again. Maybe this is the new definition of going postal. Now a days it simply means passively aggressively delivering the mail as late as possible. Great job usps! There should be one line for passports. All I wanted to do was drop off a package and I had to wait in line for 15+ minutes. Both staff members were occupied by passport applications. There's no efficiency at all. read more

Decent size post office... long lines out the door when there's a rush. Although they seem friendly, they can be very stern to costumers. Which is not a problem, especially when someone tries to avoid the line and creep up the the front desk claiming they just have a simple drop off and they are in a rush. Parking lot sucks... I don't get it? On top of the spaces directly in front of the building, they also have the street parking which fits about 3 vehicles. Usually, the lot is always full... and sometimes, there's like 1-2 people on line? Who's parking in the spaces? read more

Rudest staff EVER. It's crazy because I'm reading the reviews and someone had almost the same experience as I did. I go in to renew passports and theres a man attending me and he charges me extra money for expedited. I never asked for expedited, he assumed without asking me. He then told me that it was too late to do anything about it so I wasted money for no reason because of an incompetent worker. Then the other lady worker comes out of no where and tries to tell me that I asked for it when she wasn't even around. These two are liars, if I had ASKED for expedited, there would never be an issue. Worst customer service I experienced from a postal office. I'm not even the type to leave a bad review because I believe everyone has bad days, but this was honestly ridiculous. Please go anywhere else, there's one nearby in edgewater I believe, they're friendlier. The staff at this location are miserable and rude. I do not recommend anyone going here. read more

The people at the desk are always courteous but the rating is specifically targeting the parking situation. All the postal carriers take the parking spaces so there are no spaces for the customers. Now there is a parking lot behind the post office building and that is suppose to be for the carriers and there is a sign saying no other people except employees can park there. So they don't want you to park behind the building and take all the spaces in the front. This is acceptable? really? read more

The post office is an improvement from the old one but the parking is still terrible. We have a PO box there (which we are going to cancel) and every time I go to pick up mail there is no parking because of mail trucks and mailmen taking up all the spots. There today and one mail truck was blocking in cars and leaving no room to exit. There is a large parking lot in the back but they use the one in front. Happens the same way everyday. Never saw anything like this. The drivers are rude and load there cars right in the spot where the general public is supposed to park. Ridiculous. Will find another PO box somewhere decent. read more

The building is old, but the staff are friendly, the lines can be long and slow moving - especially on weekends

The WORST government institution EVER created! NO ONE here gives a hoot about serving the public, likely because they know we do not have the freedom to totally opt out of the USPS services, nor can we sue for their ineptitude or fraud. Packages are routinely stolen, as couriers mark them as delivered, despite recipients being home all day to confirm no delivery ever took place because there is NO recourse for any resident to take. Their services are executed with a similarly blithe disposition. I requested my mail be held for three days. On the very first day of the request, they delivered packages in the morning AND afternoon. When I was informed of this, I called and BEGGED them not to repeat their error for the remaining days. Lo and behold, the very next day, I received confirmation that they indeed delivered my mail ONCE AGAIN. Clearly, they have absolutely NO REGARD for those they are charged with serving, and as long as they are insulated by the federal government, that'll never change. One day, we will all be permitted to pay a minor fee to transfer our regular mail to FedEx, UPS, and everyone will make the switch because private institutions are deprived of the insulation that has enabled USPS to be complacent about the failure of their duties. read more
