If i could give a rating lower than 1 star, i would. I have had 2 packages that were to be delivered to me ny USPS. Both packages stated they were delivered. But never made it my location. Checked with neighbors snd no one had them. Either you have people delivering mail thst can not read numbers on a house or mailbox or you have hired thieves. All the subdivision in zFarmington states this happens constantly. Employees who can not deliver to the correct address should be terminated. This is why i will never use tge USPS. I will always use UPS. Just another government run organization that does not know what they are doing read more

I personally have never sent out mail to overseas locations and became extremely confused and overwhelmed very quickly. The woman who was assisting me lowered down to my level and was like girl listen "you are fine I promise. I will be here all day to help" she and the other three individuals posted there were amazing and so very patient with me!! I honestly felt so taken care of and my stress was eased immediately. They are very laid back and personable and are willing to go the extra mile as long as you are respectful and kind as well :) read more

5/21/2020 - Well, I did not want to have to go inside the post office today due to the times we are in with the pandemic lingering. However, I was completely out of clear tape to affix my prepaid label. Ugh. So, I geared up with baby on my hip wearing our face masks. I counted 9 cars in the parking lot, 10 including ours. I step inside and WOW! No line. Everyone was keeping their distance, but conducting other business... two were at the counter. Two clerks working the front with a few more in the back. I think baby is lucky. I didn't expect to be in and out of there in less than ten minutes. My clerk was happy to help me as always. I'm a regular over the years. He did even better than just taping the label on by putting it a plastic sleeve. Perfect! I didn't even have to ask for it. It's been rainy and the east coast's hurricane season started early this year, so that water resistant label cover is much appreciated. In my ten years here, I have not had any major issues with this post office. They seem to be friendly and efficient whenever I go in for postal services or the free Priority Mail supplies. Fully stocked today! Anyway... I feel bad for those few who have had delivery problems. Hope their issues have been resolved and they come back here to update their reviews. I mean, I do not avoid using the other services... but, why pay more when what's working for me is working great! I have used all of the PO in town and surrounding. Yes, I mail a lot of letters/cards/packages! Once, I went to a PO in KY because it was convenient that particular work day. Well, the recipient of my Christmas package never got it! I went back to that PO and they just told me rather rudely that they could not help me and to file a claim online. So, I came to this PO. They apologized and sympathized. They even looked up the detailed tracking information to share with me. They gave me more help just by being human and empathetic to my situation! just left this post office after speaking with an female Caucasus supervisor , I was truly displeased with the service as well as the accountability they hold their postal workers too.. myself being a manager I undersrand accuracy is key especially when dealing with peoples confidential information. They reassured me the job was done correctly which it was not and there was nothing they could do about the mail being placed in the incorrect mailbox which are all locked. I was told that they would go back and check for accuracy and up date the gio locator once the missing mail was found. but let's be honest nobody wants to get in trouble, the postal worker is simply going to move it to the correct box with out the update leaving me to go on yet another scavenger hunt.. this building needs to be shut down it literally has a 1.5 rating read more

Work service I've ever experienced, avoid coming at all cost. All workers are extremely rude and careless. Forces customers away.

I have had many complications with this post office in Clarksville. I have had instances where they didn't scan my packages I drop off and the staff were rude about it. They also messed up my passport and my trip is being postponed. They refused to help with it. The staff are very stern and unwelcoming. All I gotta say is, do better. This is ridiculous. I will start out by saying I've been here a month. The USPS has literally returned every item to the sender from Amazon; they have been returned to the seller for an incorrect address. Literally drove past the mail man earlier. Wait, it gets better! Every package that has been delivered by UPS or FedEx has made it with the exact same address. This is the absolute worst mail carriers in my subdivision. They continuously lose my mail and constantly leave the mailbox open. Thought going through the informed delivery would help. NOPE!!! The mail I was suppose to receive (and it showed it on Informed Delivery) never made it to my house. I write the mail delivery person a letter letting her know that she needs to find my mail. This post office has horrible customer service, all their employees I have spoken with are really rude, haven't gotten mail in four days, I went there told an employee that she laughed and said no one has, when I asked her if she go check in the back for me she said no and wouldn't go check.i Understand things happen and it gets backed up but do they not realize we need certain pieces of mail to basically survive and get things we need. This has got to be the worse postal service ever. They allow their mail carriers to personally decide to stop your mail & actually write on it as well. Today is 1-17-18, we have had snow in Clarksville & we've not gotten mail since Saturday. I saw other mail carriers out today but for some reason ours has decided to still not deliver our mail. I will start by saying I have lived at my address for 30 years. My mailbox is for anyone's mail but my own. I have a very rude leaving notes (etc) mail carrierI am fed up with my mail carrier and have notes to prove what I am saying.. I have had to write not this at this address and since I am disabled have others put back in my box for return. I want a mail carrier that can read and deliver my mail as it should be. Something is not right with Clarksville USPS. I sent a package to a PO box, that was delivered, scanned, was too large to fit in PO box, was held for recipient. Package is missing, was told that key to retrieve package from holding was put into wrong PO box, and that person stole package?! Happens all the time?! read more

Well been here since September and still they wont deliver my mail. It's truly sad that I have to sit and watch the postman deliver mail on the opposite street but because I'm a new build they will not deliver mail to me. And I have a brand new mailbox. It's literally a prop. Clarksville USPS and the new post master are a joke! They want you to get a PO BOX or pick up your mail. I have a job!! I dont have time for this. It's truly terrible that a government service will not give a citizen their mail. I thought that was there job. Can I stop paying my taxes that pay their damn checks? This is the absolute WORST postal office I've been to. The customer service is awful and everyone in this office is very rude and unprofessional. They lost my amazon package and did not try to help remedy the issue of helping me locate it. So, instead of waiting for their online customer service reps to call me back (because the hold was over an hour long - shows how many issues USPS has) I just called amazon and within 1 minute I was talking to a rep who gladly refunded my money to me so I could repurchase my item and set it up to be delivered via DIFFERENT delivery service. I highly recommend if you are trying to ship something go through FedEx or UPS - yes it may cost a little extra but it saves time and possible headaches from dealing with USPS. read more

I get a postal money order every month for 200 dollars .... And on 3 separate occasions I was told they didn't have enough money in there registers .... This is unacceptable you don't go in a sub shop and ask for a sub and pay for it to have them tell you btw there's no meat .... And be like I want my money back!.... I have had the worst customer service experience of my life at this Post Office! I don't normally visit the post office, but in the past everyone there was very helpful. Yesterday, I went in with my 17-year-old son to help him apply for a passport. I noticed immediately that I didn't recognize three of the four attendants behind the counter. They were all deep in loud conversation with each other about some controversy which seemed to have nothing to do with their jobs. We were told to have a seat after we mentioned that we were there for his 10:15 a.m. appointment. We waited, and in a few minutes one of them motioned to me to come over to the counter. I wasn't sure what she was doing at first as she didn't call our names. I was also expecting to go into the private office as I had done previously when I applied for my own passport. I ran right over and she spit out a list of things she needed. I motioned for my son to come on over since he had the information. He handed it to me, and I handed it to her. She retrieved one piece and handed the rest back. She then asked for his birth certificate that she had just handed back, so I rifled through and gave her that. She saw the copy first and just kept saying, "I need the original," which I handed her AGAIN. She then kept asking if we wanted her to take the copies of his birth certificate and his driver's license. At that point, I was wondering what she was talking about. I was thinking, "WE DON'T KNOW! YOU WORK HERE! Do you want it or not? The website says you need it!" Anyway after some confusing words coming out of her mouth, she ended up taking the copies. Then she looked quickly over the application and said VERY DIRECTLY that my son and I needed to switch places which we did immediately. She then asked my son to read something on the application. It said, "Mother's last name, maiden name." He did. She was very condescending and said he needed to change that as it was filled in with my married name. He did so. Then she started saying something about either expedited or regular service. She showed us when we could expect the passport to arrive with regular service and looked directly at ME. I said "Yes," indicating that was what we wanted. That's when all hell broke loose. She said to me gruffly, "HE has to answer the questions! You can't answer the questions. Only if he is a minor can you answer the questions." I said, "He's seventeen," which to me is a minor! That was the reason I was there. Then she starts saying how he's not a minor as far as getting a passport. Sixteen is considered a minor when you are getting a passport. WELL EXCUSE ME! I was livid. She was so disrespectful and rude to both of us and we had not done ONE SINGLE THING out of place. We were on time (after they cancelled our appointment the previous day,) we were prepared, we were cooperating. I just said, "Well, that's the only reason I'm here! If I don't need to be here, then I'm leaving!" And I did. I was so shaken. I hated to leave my son there with her, but I was losing it. I didn't want to do anything to embarrass myself after she had completely humiliated me. I drove away and my son tried to call me, but the call got disconnected. In a minute I got a text from him that said, "Are you coming?" and I thought, "WHAT FOR?" I called him back, and he said that I needed to come back and PAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I told him to pay with his credit card. They don't take credit cards, he didn't have that amount on his debit card, and he doesn't own a checkbook. I thought I was going to blow up. So, I can't answer the questions, but YOU'LL TAKE MY MONEY!?!?! I went in and said as little as possible except, "I'm confused." I was clearly livid. I wrote the check, handed it to her, and turned around while I waited for her to finish with my son. THEN I LEFT. I hope to NEVER go back in there again. I cried in the parking lot. I have never been so humiliated in a customer service situation. *Today the postal service has lost my son's package which is worth $800! These people are incompetent and rude. Ordered three packages, none were delivered. At my apartment complex the USPS is suppose to leave a key for a locker in your mailbox to get to where your packages are stored. Never got one. I tried leaving a friendly note asking for a key, and they took the note but never gave me a key. It's beyond frustrating. read more

Mail delivery and pickup is hit or miss. We do not get mail for 2 consecutive days and then we get a whole mailbox full. Yesterday we had outgoing mail and it was never touched. Why can't we get something done!? I too would give this area service a ZERO if it were an option! read more

They have picked up and hung the phone up 3 times just today . We have not received our mail in 4 days exclude Sunday for obvious reasons . There is no option to report this either . You can't call the 800 number because when you do there in no option . I would give zero stars if I could. My mailman CONSTANTLY doesn't deliever my mail. He just decides "hmm I'm gonna skip this subdivision today!!" I'm so irritated this happens atleast once a week. Its not just me either as my neighbors have issues with their mail as well. Its even worse when I'm waiting on a package to be delivered. I will check the tracking online, it will say "out for delievery", and he'll not come by my house at all. And I know for a fact it shouldv'e been delivered and that it's in his vehicle. One incident occured when he actually drove past my house and was about 4 houses down then road but once I walked outside, he seen me, turned around, and was like "oh I have a box for you" didn't even get out of his truck (he's lazy) and then handed it to me and said "btw it's a little wet and damaged" then drove off. The mail person who delivers the mail in my subdivision has got to be the laziest or has something against my household. I just moved here from Illinois and never had a problem like this. This mail will not deliver our mail unless their whole mail truck vehicle can drive up. If they can't they write on a piece of mail when it's delivered that the previous day mail box was blocked. While I see other neighbors parked right in front of their mail box to the point to open the mail box you have either get in the car or lean against it to get mail and for some reason they get mail. We leave enough room at times where half the mail truck can fit and get nothing. WTF When you right mailbox blocked my thoughts are I'm parked right in front of it you can't open the mailbox without hitting my vehicle. In Illinois I had neighbors park in front of my mailbox or left very little room and still got mail. I also don't get any boxes unless I'm outside and I had a certified letter that this mail person put in to pick up at post office because no one answered door. Never came to door and I had to literally walk 3 houses down to catch up with them to say I was home and got oh I didn't think you were and when I said you never came to the door they admitted no I didn't it didn't look like you were home. I do not understand how hard it is to deliver my mail to my mailbox that has my correct current address on it? I haven't received my drivers license since I first requested in September. I spoke to the Ring Gold Post Office here in Clarksville TN 37042, they kept on saying they never received it or they sent it back after I confronted them about lying. My license has my current address on it, but the post office decided to send it back then said that I had to fill out a change of address card to fix the error. I told them I filled out one back in September 14, they "don't see it". I talked to the post master on wilma rudolph and he told me to fill out a change of address, so I did. My license once again has my current address on it, not my old address, not my neighbors address, not my friends address, etc. how hard is it to ensure that my mail that has my address on it make it to its destination. What does a change of address card have to do with the address on the front of the letter? read more
