I have stopped a few times before and found that they were ok. Today my husband went down needing to buy stamps and to send a package. He said he got a clerk that was letting the world know she didn't like her job. I do appreciate USPS because my sister and a son worked for them but poor attitudes need to be left at home Normally when we ship a package we get a receipt with a tracking number- not this time so I sincerely hope the package gets to my grandchildren. He also got no receipt for the stamps and supplies he bought. read more

I LOVE THIS POST OFFICE :) They treat me with respect! I have my Forms filled out before I get there. It's really rude of the army wives to bring their stuff in and expect to box it, tape it, and fill out the form at the post office while we wait in line behind them. There is a 1-800 number you can order everything from and do it at home. I think it's sad they wait to the last minute to box it. My husband is deployed and I send him a box every payday. This Post Office is quick here. If you don't like the hours (they close at 4:30) then you can go on post at Fort Campbell and they are open till 6pm. read more

I have been to this post office dozens of times over the last four years but I have absolutely had it with this female employee! The woman that works at the counter is the most rude person I have ever come across in a post office. Every single time. She is rude not just to me but also nasty to my children. Recently my daughter (a very timid three year old) got yelled at when she touched a pen. A freakin pen! The lady yanked it from her hand and scolded "Don't you touch my things!!" I spun around and said "don't you dare yell at my child!" On a separate occasion the same woman started raising her voice at me in attempt to make me pay for something that a previous customer had opened. Apparently she did not notice the item was opened until I was in the office and blaming me she felt that I needed to pay for this item. After arguing with the woman for about five minutes I yelled at her to take her ass back to the office and look at the $&@!ing cameras because I did not touch anything nor was I paying for someone else's wrongdoing. She sighed loudly slammed down what was in her hand and walked away from me. I left without making my purchase. She is absolutely inappropriate and when I mentioned it to my husband he said that he also stopped going to that post office because of this woman's rudeness. I live in Oak grove and I recently decided not to go there any more. Why because of the grumpy guy who works there. I do not know his name but he is the oldest guy in age with half bald white hair. He is NOT helpful at all. I mean he doesn't have to smile at my face and I think he never ever been nice or smiled in his life but all what I am asking for from him is to be helpful and professional. If you ask him something he answers with disgust it like he is doing you a favor and forget that this is his job there to answer people questions, Last time I have asked him a question he turned his back and left the counter and went inside. No wonder post offices are about to go out of business! If post office employees think that customer service is not important in their job , they're wrong. You got lucky to get this kind of job so respect your customers that they're the reason you are getting your salary. The lady who works there is very nice and helpful and also professional but I do not want to take the risk and ruin my day by guessing who is at the post office when I come. I'm pretty sure these are the rudest people I have ever encountered in any post office ever in my life! Especially the grumpy old man. It's ridiculous! One day it's okay to put packages (already paid for and have postage) on the counter and the next he makes you wait a minute, only to print a receipt I don't want or need. Because I usually have only 2-5 packages I put them in the box in the wall. They are paid for, I don't need or want to wait in line, and I don't want to be rude and interrupt to ask if it's okay today to place them on the counter. The other day I was placing 3 paid for packages in the box and his grumpy mean voice shouted through the slot to bring them around to the counter! I said I already deposited all I had and left. He ruined my whole morning! When I have had to go to the counter there, no one ever greets anyone. No hello and how may I help you. Just nods and never a smile! No thank you and no have a nice day. They need to give us a break and transfer them out somewhere else! read more

Do not go to this post office if you expect to be out quickly. Only 2 windows and only 1 is ever open. Young girl at front knows nothing and must keep going to the back with questions. Also, it is flooded with military who run in front of you in the parking lot, are not prepared when they get to the counter and constantly have problems because they filled out forms incorrectly (takes forever). Military - please use PO on base!! This PO is not equipped to handle the US Army (or even the neighborhood for that matter)! read more

Oak Grove mail service ruined my sons, & grandkids Christmas. The tracking info said their box was delivered 22 Dec 2012 @1:29 pm. WHERE DID THE MAILMAN DELIVE IT TOO CUS IT SURE WASN'T TO THE ADDRESS ON THE BOX. Didn't put the yellow paper in the mailbox to pick it up from the post office. A 15lb 10x8x8 box just disappeared. All I got from the post office was " our records show that it was delivered." read more
