Majority of the workers here are so disgruntled that they just quit. I'm not sure if they're understaff and/or not hiring, but you'd they'd do the best they can with what they got. No matter the circumstance, you determine your attitude and the majority of them are just trash. 99% of these staff that I've dealt with have the saltiest attitude like we're burdening them on just picking up my package. The other 1% are friendly and decent people just trying to do their best and/or are slow moving like a sloth. It's bad enough that we have missing mail issues or wrong delivery locations in our neighborhood, now I gotta deal with these bums. I don't understand why they don't use the lockers like they normally do. Every time I come, there's 1-2 staff workers with 20+ people in line. We had passport appointments set and they'd cancel without notification. I wish this wasn't the main post office in Bryan, otherwise many of us would not come here. It's incredibly difficult to pick up a package. The window is not regularly open, and when it is, the line is so long. Often on the weekend, the package drop is full or locked closed. I've started making arrangements for my larger packages to just be shipped to my place of work since by box is small. read more

Started coming here after the lines and service deteriorated at my nearby UPS outlet. I only come here to mail bills, but I've never waited in line more than a few minutes, the service has been friendly and courteous, and I've been in and out of there typically in 10-15 minutes. Could not deliver a letter correctly if it was their next door neighbor. Regularly lose mail or deliver it sometimes weeks late. Unhelpful if you go to the offices and I witnessed outright rude behavior by staff that was supported by their supervisor when people complained. Almost the worst experience. A mail carrier delivered my package to the wrong address. I filed a service ticket request to have someone look into it for me and I would have it by the evening however they claim they did and closed my case still no package. I've officially had the worst experience I've ever had with the US Post Office here in College Station/Bryan. Yesterday morning my package was delivered VERY OBVIOUSLY damaged AND opened. Now, I'm aware that had it been damaged in the facility, I would have received proper notification, however I did NOT. We opened the door shortly after delivery to find that the box was most definitely tampered with. The carrier marked it delivered to our parcel locker, but they instead left it at my door. Suspicious behavior sign #1 that prompted me to call the USPS to file a complaint. I was advised that this office would properly investigate the issue. Well this morning I received a call from a rep whom was extremely rude, insinuating that the package could've been left at my door long enough for someone else to tamper with it. She kept saying "well it was delivered to the right address" when that wasn't even the issue at hand--MY PACKAGE WAS TAMPERED WITH AND OPENED IN THE PROCESS. She then proceeds to tell me that if I had come to the office with a picture then they could've helped me. I let her know I DO have a photo, and she responds in disbelief "but does it have the time stamp on it?". She took ZERO ownership for the fact of the matter which is that my items were tampered with upon delivery! She made no effort to help me reach a resolution, instead she continued to cut me off and give me "information" that wasn't even relevant to my personal experience. She was so disruptive and unhelpful that I had to tell her I'd be escalating the issue to corporate and ending the call. This is the first time I'm experiencing an incident like this in the area, however I've lost complete trust in the employees at this location. Train your staff to be more patient, empathetic and resolution focused, versus pointing the finger at the customer and acting like there's nothing you can do! Inside was supposed to be gifts for my daughters 1st Valentines...now we may not know if anything was stolen, or if someone potentially spread any viruses by touching the contents inside the box. Awful, awful experience. Also the (800) to call to get in touch for complaints is a hot mess! Called multiple times and the prompts won't put me through to anyone that ACTUALLY cares to resolve the issue. read more

US Post Office - Package delivered damaged! - Post Offices Near Me - Bryan, Texas

Bryan Post Office is the WORST POST OFFICE I've ever been to. I hate the fact that I had to give one star. I wish someone could close this place for such poor service. It's been a week that my package has been stuck in a box with an inoperable key that was left in my box to retrieve my package......smh. So I went to the post office to report the issue and the lazy postal lady told me to place the key back into box and took my info, then started that my package will be at my door the next day. NO PACKAGE2 days later. Called and was told to hold to get my information and was put on hold for over 8mins. Now I'm back at square one. Nobody there seems to care, but if this affected them in any way, I'm sure the situation would be different. read more

I had to go up there today, the front desk lady immediately put up next window sign. Then I tell the next guy the mail man put the wrong parcel key in my box. Why did the mf mailman come bring me some more mail today and still didn't put the right key in my box. I had to cancel all my appointments. That's not all, I'm missing 2 packages that were scanned delivered on front porch or door i have no packages what so ever. This ish getting ridiculous. And there was one customer ahead of us from an 315 South Main Bryan. She was a college student. There a lady called the address out and told other college student to come up about a total of eight of them walked from back of the line was waited on. WARNING!! If you do not have to use this post office, please don't! I was there on 12/6/2023 to mail a package to my uncle. I should have just gone to FEDEX. When I got there, there was a line with no employees at the front. It was that way for awhile. I was then told that their computers were not operating correctly, and that there was a reboot going on. I finally got through the line, and was being assisted, but had to use my credit card, because I only had $2 in cash on me. The total SHOULD HAVE been just $10.75. I first ran one card, and even though the screen said it was approved and the charge showed up immediately on my phone, she said it didn't go through. So next I tried my contactless apple pay, just incase it was the chip reader. Again, it said it was approved, but she said it didn't go through. So I'm trying to get some cash so I can pay for the package, and some nice lady came up and paid for my package and wouldn't allow me to get her contact info to pay her back. So what should have been just $10.75, ended up being $32.25. The woman at the counter said the charges would fall off... THEY DIDN'T! She let me take a picture of the label for tracking purposes, but gave the receipt to the woman who paid cash. I tried to have it all investigated, because WHY should the post office get $32.25 for something that was $10.75 in total.. it's the principle of the matter.. but I am now being told that if I want my money back, I have to have the receipt, WHICH I DON'T HAVE!. Good job USPS on the scamming for money that you don't deserve! I won't come back again.. FEDEX will always get my money from now on! read more

2 out of 3 of my recently delivered packages arrived in my PO Box OPENED! One was missing contents. Not sure if they are looking for cash, gift cards & goodies at Christmas time...? Because of this, I chose to use UPS to deliver all my packages that I have always mailed Priority Mail by USPS in the past. I gave an extra star for the friendly employees working there. read more

I have lived here (Democrat Rd off of Hwy 21 Zip 77808) for 9 years and all that time the post office has delivered my packages too large for the mailbox to my door (which is under a covered carport and about 400 yards from the road) More recently they have been tossing packages out on the often damp grass at the end of my driveway. One item was ruined but he shipper replaced it. Today five packages were lying out there and I would not have known had the shipper not notified me by e-mail that it had been delivered. My mailman for nearly nine years was awesome. Now they are horrible. Once two bagged packages were stuffed in the mailbox with one hanging 3/4 of the way out - and that was just a week ago. read more

This post office is spacious, always clean and the staff is very helpful! If the line gets long, they bring someone need to work at the front! They have a variety of cards, tapes, envelops and boxes! The location has great parking. read more

Previously I haven't had a good experience with this post office, I moved and have had packages get lost or mixed up and have had trouble reaching the office. Recently though, this post office made a pretty big mistake and mislabeled a valuable package of mine that I am still trying to retrieve. Despite all of this, Mark has been incredibly helpful. He's been out looking for my package in person and has kept me up to date throughout all this. So because of his efforts I'm giving a good review! UPDATE: Mark flaked out too and never called me back and updated me about my package. Had to file a claim with USPS for money that can't replace what I lost. Super disappointed. read more

we have one giant mailbox in our neighborhood and our mailman just looses everyones mail or gives it to the wrong addresses. we have lost so many packages im glad amazon does refunds. when we ask for a expensive package to be deliver to the house instead they wont do it. We operate a huge shipping center in Bryan, Texas. This Post Office is the most inept, rude, and least caring operation we have ever encountered. Mail delivery and pick up has become very sporadic under the newest regime change. The idiot leading this government operation is Chris Coxie. This place sucks. The "temporary" carrier doesn't do his job! He leaves packages out in the weather AND where they can easily be stolen. He puts EVERYBODY'S mail in 1 (one) mailbox so THAT person has to sort everyone's mail. He says "driveway inaccessable" and that's not even CLOSE to the truth! The road goes DIRECTLY to my house. I'm not the only person with these issues! We put a BOARD up asking him to deliver to the door because packages are being stolen! STILL he's NOT delivering to the door! The post office now has minimum sizes on boxes you can send. The postal employee who informed us of this offered for us to buy a padded envelope to place our "too small" box in. Our box was 4.5"x3.5"x2". It's not like it was a matchbook. Save yourself the aggravation of dealing with us government employee idiocy and just go to UPS or FedEx. We will only be sending packages through these other agencies now. It's time for the government to retire from the mail business. It's such a horribly run entity. read more

Obviously, the other reviewer hasn't had any of their mail stolen by these thieves yet. If I could leave them zero stars, I would. I am currently deployed to Iraq. I ordered some things that I needed here and the seller sent them to my po box instead if to me. So a friend repackaged the items and sent them on. There's no acceptance scan whatsoever. It only said the post office has been informed that the package would be shipped. That's what it says when you buy the postage online. So he mailed it from this God-forsaken post office and it hasn't gotten here. This was five weeks ago and he sent it via priority mail. There is NO acceptance scan which is what they're supposed to do when they physically accept the package for mailing. That means the idiot either "forgot" to scan it in or he stole it. Even if he missed the acceptance scan, if it was actually in transit, there wouldve been a scan SOMEWHERE by now. So yeah, if you want your mail stolen, indeed go here. I'm about to send all this to both my senators and my representative. I do not think stealing mail is right, especially from a soldier. read more

They won't deliver packages to your door. They drop them off at the end of a long driveway and often items are stolen. We have called to have them keep the packages and leave a note in mailbox to pick up, but continue to leave at the end of the driveway. read more

If I could, I would give the US Post Office in Bryan 0 stars! This post office is absolutely the worst by refusing to deliver our packages to our door since our apartment complex is no longer excepting packages to be left in the office for the residents to pick them up there. The post office uses the excuse that they don't want to "endanger" their employees by having them going up and down the stairs! According to the Postmaster General, they are supposed to deliver to the door but yet they can't force them to do that, so I wasted my time by contacting both facilities and filing a complaint against this local Post Office because they are not willing to change. If it isn't the Post Offices place to deliver my packages to my door, who's job is it, may I ask? What are we, second class citizens because we are living in an apartment? So from now on I will use FedEx and UPS for the delivery of my packages because they are not afraid to be going up and down the stairs and by the way, we are living on the 1st floor! I guess the Postal Service doesn't need the money from costumers, there are a lot of people living here in this complex and I realy hope they all will do what I am doing, giving their parcel business to an other carrier, one that is willing and able to deliver to the door without complaining and whining about having to use the stairs! I hope every resident refuses to come down to the Post Office in order to pick up their packages, which is precisely what they want us to do, to chase after our parcels and I for one refuse doing that! read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall customer service at this post office. The lines moved quickly, and the employee who waited on me was very, very polite and helpful...he was a total joy! My only complaint was the confusion in deciding which line to stand in for mailing services and which to stand in for mail/package pick-up. All of us who had visited for the first time were standing in the wrong line to begin with, and then had to get in the longer line for mail services, which had grown steadily since we entered the service area. That was frustrating! I think the post office should hang signs above the counters that list the different services available at each station. How easy and logical would that be??? LOL!! read more

The usps sucks big time!!! I had a package delivered to my house fedex. All was well through the entire delivery until the usps got there hands on it. Mail man just pulls up throws a delivery ticket in the mail and drives off. Didnt even bother to get out of the truck. Then I call the office over and over and over no answer. Absolute worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered something from Amazon (Prime, no less) and after about a week I realized something was up so I gave the post office a call and no one ever answered. I called a good fifteen times. No one answered and the voice message box was full. About two days later I got an email from Amazon saying the package was attempted to be delivered but there was no secure area to leave it...so I was like, alright fine, I'll reschedule a delivery. Rescheduled, no one ever showed with it. I called again, the people said they did indeed have the package at one time but the lady couldn't find it on the shelf. Said she'd give my number to the service master or whoever and they'd call me back. Never received a call. Called again less than a week later, same conversation happened. Said they'd pass my number on, and still have yet to receive a call. I'm LIVID. It seems that they completely lost my package because it's never out for delivery and they can't find it in the building anywhere. FURTHERMORE, even though someone tried to deliver the package at one time they never left a slip on my door OR in my mailbox. Worst part about it is that Amazon won't refund me because according to all of the records it should be at the post office. Seriously pissed off. read more
