Now housed in a more modern building with high ceilings, large windows - bringing in natural sunlight, tons of comfortable seating, plus 26 or so high glass paned counters filled with helpful representatives, makes for a vast improvement. This process ran smoothly, but with a fairly long wait. Especially if you're assigned a late morning reservation as I was. Once you arrive you're scanned in and provided an alphanumeric number. You wait for your number to be called, and instructed to have your photo taken. You then wait again to see another rep who completes your appointment. During each wait entertainment is provided via the MVN (Motor Vehicle Network). Their monitors are ever present grabbing your attention, and most importantly informing you which number is up next to be served. The DMV Representative that assisted with my renewal was surprisingly very helpful and pleasant, as with everyone I encountered. She reviewed my docs, gave her professional opinion on what would be my best option. I then paid for my renewal and was done with this part of the process in under 20 mins. Truthfully, the entire process took a little over 2 hours. Regardless of the lengthy wait, I was impressed with this White Plains DMV's organization. Five stars. TIPS: -Make a reservation for your appt. online -Arrive w/i 15mins of your appt. My recent visit to the Dmv was all good this time around. I remembered where I needed to go versus…read moremy first visit here years ago. I also made my appointment ahead of time, weeks in advance. When I walked in I was greeted by a man who asked if I had an appointment and when I responded yes, he pointed me in the direction I needed to go. Checking in was also easy, and if you had trouble there was someone there to help. I typed in my phone number, my appointment time popped up and I printed out a receipt and found a seat. I had a 11am appointment and I arrived early like 10:36, so not crazy early lol To my surprise at 10:58 my ticket number was called and I was at the counter. The lady at the counter was full of personality. She got me in and out before 11:30. This time the parking only cost me, $3. Overall when you have to go to the Dmv automatically you think of drama and stressful day but my experience there today was calm and easy. I 100% recommend that you make your appointment online beforehand to save yourself the headache.

We ordered something we need from LOWES. They promised to come here today so we waited all day in case we had to sign for it. It's an apartment complex it's not like having your own home. OUR MAIN POINT IS THAT WE GOT A TEXT FROM ALLEGED UNITED STATES POST OFFICE. WE CALLED OUR POST OFFICE AND THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO TELL US THAT NO THEY DO NOT SEND TEXTS. (can everybody stop saying Texas please instead of TEXTS?) it's one syllable and not to state of Texas. We watch too many reality shows about the law to have this not bug us. It's a giant scam! We're really starting to hate criminals. I don't care how poor you are if you ask me nicely I probably would've given you some money, but this is just a way to screw up your life forever. It's called a smishing SCAM. Most people in the country are awaiting packages at this time of year. For once we were smart about technology and just deleted it and reported it as spam. They had a crummy picture of the United States post office logo and very strange text address.. ALL LIES AND ALL CRIMINALS. PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON THEIR LINK. THE POST OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES DOES NOT SEND TEXTS. We were lucky enough, even after we reported it as Spam and tried to block the site, that our post office is so wonderful. They actually answered our question and it only took about four minutes. We just don't want anybody else to get robbed, cyber robbed. I don't care what they call it. It's theory is lies. It's fake and I wish the government would do something about it! My husband is ready to explode from watching the news and seeing innocent people rounded up for no reason most of them American citizens and many who have been veterans. We hope everyone realizes that in Chicago when they destroyed an entire apartment building that not one single arrest was made. We don't like the idea of secret police or the reality of secret police. We're also extremely tired of getting these fake texts from criminals. We've been CRIMED enough. Please, everyone be careful during this wonderful holiday season. Try to remember that the cyber criminals and their allies never quit for a second because they use robots. As stupid as a robot is, I'm including Apple and Amazon, and many other large sites. ' TIS THIS SEASON TO BE RIPPED OFF MERCILESSLY. Jim, the owner was at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and welcoming. I was assisted by Carlos with my laundry and he was also very personable. When I returned to pick up my dry cleaning, another gentleman was at the front desk and the high level of customer service was maintained. My experience doing my own laundry was economical and the equipment did a great job. My dry cleaning was received when promised and I am pleased with the quality job that was done. I will continue to patronize this business and hope they remain in operation for a long time!
