This is not the first time this elder lady has been rude to me. On my previous visit she would not look in my direction while serving me. She normally talks to all the locals and even knows them by name. So when she gives me the cold shoulder I feel the different treatment. Her demeanor is very unwelcoming. I live in this city and would like to continue to support my local business but she gives this wonderful establishment a bad rep.

However they've been known to only have one postal official handling all of the mail even though they have spots for 3-4 handlers. I think that's a postal call as to how many handlers they want to pay, whereby putting more of a workload on one postal handler. I've noticed that during the holidays, they normally try to stock up more for the rush. It's not a bad place, however management in my honest opinion should keep at least more than one postal worker to handle the mail.

Boxes for rent. Most of the personnel are pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately it lacks the thing that would make it most convenient for users- one of the machines that allows customers to weigh and mail letters and small packages &buy stamps when the post office personnel are off duty or when there is a line of people there for other things -like picking up mail and mailing large packages. The facility is adequate for the size of the town. Lines are longer at Christmas, like most post offices-(again a postal machine could help alleviate this snd help customers, especially in times when people need to distance. Parking is usually adequate -and in crowded times people can park in the larger lot at the library and walk. There are outside boxes for mailing letters in a small drive-thru area.

Car tags, packages and this week a birthday card from our daughter to my husband. I have had to deliver my neighbors mail to them countless times, make two trips to the car tag office and now no birthday card for husband, who knows where that went? The postal service and specifically the one in Loganville deserve zero stars and some better employees. Now the "Find lost mail" page on their USPS site won't even load so I can make a report. Pathetic. If the Postmaster is not capable of running this place then maybe it's time for a new one.

Today, I needed to send a birthday present to my friend in California and a box of Halloween goodies to a friend serving in the military overseas. The smiling clerk helped me decide on two day shipping for my friend's birthday present (so my gift won't be *too* belated), and she also helped me pack a flat rate box so everything will still be in ship-shape when unpacked in the Middle East. Okay, so you will have to scrounge for a quarter to feed the meter at this location, but the amazingly helpful and efficient staff certainly make up for it! And isn't anything better than that horrid parking lot at Beechwood where the next nearest post office is?
