I sent a certified package to Michigan on Dec. 16. Told it would take three days. Cost me $18.55. On Jan. 16 I went back to the post office to have the package sent back to me because it was sitting in a post office in Michigan for a month. As of Jan. 18 the package is missing. It can' t be tracked anymore and the Baldwinsville post office has been giving me the run around. It is now Jan. 30 and I need it back by February 1. read more

I don't know why this post office gets such poor reviews from people. It's large has tons of easy parking and it's pretty spacious when you're talking to people at the counter. There's a very large block of PO boxes which are separate from the counter area. It's open on Saturdays which is nice, and it's pretty much in the center of town here. They also have that really nice mailbox that you can drop letters into from your car window. read more

Looks like most of the negative reviews are from customers that are awaiting mail or packages. I have had excellent counter service from the folks there. Everything from mailing packages, letters, priority to passports, they have been great. I've also never had any issues with mail delivery - not even once. Keep up the good work. We were expecting an express delivery and didn't realize that a signature was needed. No one had been home. After speaking with the woman at the Baldwinsville post office she was able to track the package to the precise location and help me to get it that day. She spent quite a bit of time and effort in helping me and I cannot thank her enough! The package contained medication for sick livestock and it was very important that it was received that day. We have a sub mail ( woman) in our neighborhood. Each time she delivers the mail, we have issues. I have informed delivery so I know what mail I am to receive. My mail is in my neighbors mailbox, or just lost. What is so difficult about getting mail in the correct boxes? Other neighbors are receiving the wrong mail too. I ordered yarn on Etsy & didn't receive it. I went to the post office & found that they had said that I "refused" the mail. Whatever that means! I wouldn't be at the post office looking for it if that was the case! Nobody apologized, nobody cared or offered any kind of customer service. Instead they said there was nothing they could do. I tried to get my refund from the original sender & they said they couldn't refund my shipping. I tried to get my shipping reimbursed by the post office & the manager could care less. She said it was delivered to my address & that it was refused. WORST SERVICE EVER! She should lose her job & they need new postal carriers that know what they're doing! read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! Baldwinsville Post office constantly deliver mail to neighbors and wrong address. What's even worse if you call there not apologetic ever about this happening and actually cop an attitude. Thank god Amazon is so awesome and fixes there mistakes. I have had to have so many things replaced it's insane.This has been going on for years. I can not wait for Amazon to have there own delivery trucks so I can actually receive my packages and on time. I stopped complaining about all my prime stuff never being on time because it's a losing battle and if I just receive my packages I would be happy. I don't know if it's the post office or the carrier but either way I have complained enough they should fix the problem. In the past the old post master at least was apologetic and has even sent carrier back and found mail in wrong box. The new lady could care less. read more

When my husband knows USPS rules & regs better than the postmaster and has to repeatedly point out that a certain type of package does NOT require a signature ... when they mark as delivered a package that has yet to appear in my mailbox ... when the employees behind the counter are sooooo slooooooow and miserable ... you, too, would choose any other post office than Baldwinsville. If I could give this post office less stars, I would. They were supposed to deliver an Amazon package on Wednesday. I got a text stating it could not be delivered and per the customer it would be picked up at the post office. No. I think not! First of all, no one tried to deliver it. I have three security cameras that face the road, the driveway, and the door. No one even drove down the street at that time. Secondly, why would anyone in their right mind order from Amazon and then want to pick it up at the post office during the Christmas season? When I called the next day to inquire, the female that answered the phone did not ask any information, said it would be delivered today (meaning Thursday) and hung up without another word. It did not get delivered. I called again on Friday, got the same female and the same rotten attitude with the same answer. This time I stopped her and stated I wanted to know where my package was. She was unwilling to check it by name or address, so I had to get off the phone (I called from work), and get my phone in order to get the tracking number. I called back, got a male post office worker with the same rotten attitude who stated it would be delivered today and hung up. I will send this to Amazon so they stop using the USPS. I don't have any of these problems with FedEx or UPS. read more
