Gave a second chance but walked…read more 1st time, my elderly mother went there to get an estimate to mail two trays of black and white cookies. lady said they'd need to build a box. mom said I first would like to know how much before you go through that trouble. she built the box anyway. $100 to ship two trays of BJ's black and white cookies. At this point mom felt pressured to ship as they built the box and put all the info in computer. totally took advantage of her and I was angry for her. 2nd time I went with my son yesterday to mail a home decoration we found antiquing. asked what it was, I said decoration, made from metal and wooden. I was quite literally grilled for specifics. I felt so vulnerable having to literally describe in detail my item. I was told they needed to know exactly so if it fell out of the box they knew what box to put it back in. That was not going to happen. It was a box inside a box inside a box. Each box individually taped. I felt that was none of their business as I did not want to donate to their home. I gave sufficient detail at a wood and metal home decoration. she measured weighed put my address in. told me $115, deliver on Thursday. I thanked her but took my item and left. drove down the street to a different UPS store. completely different experience. Clean, friendly and no grilling of what I was mailing they were happy in knowing it was a home decoration made of wood and metal. period. $61 to ship. deliver on Thursday. what the heck? how in the world do they have such huge discrepancies. both had same information, same package, same everything. and how in the world do you sleep at night charging my mom, 87 years old, $100 to mail 2 trays of BJ's black and white cookies. She asked for an estimate and you made a kind woman feel hostage to your box building. honestly you should be ashamed of yourselves. that is truly ridiculous!!! after I experienced the crazy yesterday it's confirmed, lack integrity and honesty and YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to know precisely what is in my package. I shared what you needed to know and then you wanted to rip my son off and charge $115.

This isn't the closest cleaners to us, but I am still going out of my way to go here because of the service alone. I thought the value in terms of how quickly they processed everything relative to what I had was pretty solid. I do wish they did post their pricing, but that's a small nitpick. Bonus points for their notification system. They had a team member reach out and update me on the whole process.

So I waited in line to ask for help and have it printed by the person in the print shop. And he proceeded to tell me once I got to the front of the line that he was too busy he couldn't possibly print those out. He had a ton of print jobs. He was really unprofessional and a little bit whiny. I have never been treated this way. At the Staples on Route 31 before. When and if, I print something there again, I will look for someone else to help me. I was very disappointed.

On Sunday April 3rd I was looking for a business card service to create a card for my various jobs…read moreand hobbies. There is a great number business card suppliers online, but my solution was found a half mile away at my local STAPLES. Staples offers an amazing array of cards for every type of business and need. These also come at a very reasonable cost. Where Staples created the need for me to write a Yelp! is how their customer service was far exceeding many of the businesses I wrote about. Ordered on Sunday night, I picked up my cards (hopefully my picture will come out on this Yelp!) that we're able to represent the different ventures I pursue. Jessie, the Print and Marketing Supervisor put together my order. She thoroughly checked every card and threw in a few extra for my wait. She was kind, attentive and knowledgeable in her working with me. On a return visit, I met Ruth. An incredibly helpful and friendly cashier who told me about future sales for teachers and upon request, gave me the directions on how to complete a survey for them. I missed it by one day unfortunately. What was amazing about Ruth and this organization is that Ruth uses a walker to sit on and to get around with the wheels. This tells me that Staples hires diversity and recognizes hard work not disabilities. Finally, I have always loved this store and the various teacher solutions and technology solutions that is provides. Do Salatino, the general manager, runs a good ship, helping employees, shoppers and businesses meet their needs.

So when it comes to mailing out your packages, I recommend coming to this post office. I have been…read moreto many all around the Syracuse area and I always get fair treatment here. The staff are very nice and they always handle my packages with care. They also work very fast, so even when there is a giant line formed...it moves pretty fast. One good thing about coming to this location, is that I always feel I am getting a fair price. I feel like there is some sort of incentive for upgrading people to faster shipping, but I could be totally wrong. The reason I bring that up though, is because when I come here they never seem to try to push me one way or the other. They also never seem to overcharge me. I feel like some of the other ones I have been to always charge me more for things. I remember one particular time that I was shipping a giant box it was going to be super expensive. The employee explained if it was only 2 inches smaller it would be half the cost. I chopped the top of the box off and taped new flaps on it and saved over 50 bucks. This was thanks to one employee who actually cared.
