And what makes our little post office exceptional are the people that work there. Every time I have ever needed to ship something out - I tend to leave UPS and FEDEX for other folks and I head right to my little post office down the street. I know that they will find the best way possible for my package at the very best price. Most of the time beating out the cost of the other two already mentioned. They have gone out of their way to take care of my shipping needs and they carry everything at the location I've ever needed. So - they are well stocked - professional and friendly and their hours I have found to be as good or better then most. I cannot find any issues with this location and that includes parking just feet away from the door and yes - they take credit cards too!

This location at times gets very crowded and busy. Especially during the morning hours. Seniors…read morebuying stamps or complaining about mail service. They do have a Kios you can use for stamps and shipping labels. The lobby is also open 24 hours with a package drop off bin. To be frank people can do most of their USPS needs online or at the self Kios. Sure the clerks at times are grumpy but you deal with animated Seniors all day or people who don't know how to pack items to mail.

That said, since I have discovered it, I don't go to any other post office location (at least not if I'm leaving from home) because this one is so convenient. Plus, it has better weekend hours than the Post Office on Bailey. You can get stamps, mail packages, and do all the things you normally would at the Post Office but without the lines that I've encountered at pretty much every other Post Office. I don't think I've ever had more than one person in front of me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And if you need to get something from the Pharmacy while you're there, it's super convenient. Parking is easy, as is getting in and out of the lot. Yay for convenience and easy.

If incompetency could fly, the Silver Creek postal system would be an airport. I reside in a…read morebuilding encompassing four apartments, each tenant's door clearly marked "A", "B", "C", or "D". I recently lost a $50 food order because the mail carrier placed the package at the wrong door, despite the shipping address clearly marked as "C". The driver lazily and irresponsibly stopped at the first door he encountered and dropped off the package, rather than look for the correct apartment. Later, I was told: "Your carrier states he delivered the package." Yeah, duh, he delivered it alright, but to the wrong door. This week I never received my pet's medication. According to the Silver Creek post office, it was returned to the sender due to my address being invalid. Then explain how I received the previous three orders? And how am I receiving daily mail in my mailbox if the address is no good? They need to wake up!
