Just spent over an hour trying to get a payoff, a get being hung up on. Absolute absurdity. I would never do business with these fools.

On 11/16/2018 my car would not start. A tow truck was called and was brought to US AUTO SALES maintainance shop at 2875 University Pkwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. After running diagnostics the Passtime GPS box had malfunctioned which caused the vehicle not to start and had also caused the brakes to lockup. After replacing the box, I received a call from the shop asking if I was having issues with the brakes which I said no. The shop took it upon themselves (without my knowledge) to replace the ABS module with a salvaged module and the brake stop lamp switch and relay. I picked up the vehicle on 11/24/2018 and with in just a few minutes of picking up the car the brakes completely locked up and began smoking from all four wheel wells. I caught a ride back to the shop to let them know what was going on and was informed that as of 11/30/2018 US AUTO SALES would no longer have a service department to repair vehicles and told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to find a different mechanic, so I had to have the car towed again back home. On 11/28/2018 I took the car to my mechanic and after running diagnostics, I was told that the abs module (being salvaged) was not reprogrammed for my car, the brake lines were not bled ( which caused the brakes to overheat and lock up) and now I have a CVT Shutter which was not there prior to 11/16/2018. Due to the negligence of the US AUTO SALES mechanics, my car now has warped rotors, calipers are bad, brake pads need replaced, rims bent, hub caps melted, needs new abs module and wheel bearings because of the overheating of the brakes due to lack of being bled. The car is under warranty but only for calipers and abs module. Total cost of repairs is $5411.12 US AUTO SALES says it's not their problem and is refusing to fix, pay or replace the vehicle, but wants me to voluntarily repossess or continue making monthly payments for a vehicle I can not drive due to their mechanics negligence. You're better off walking! Had to get a car at a time when I was in a real bind financially. Barry talked me into a 12 year old car and assured me that making payments timely, I could upgrade to a newer one with less miles in 2 years. It's been 2-1/2 and I have been a faithful customer and guess what? They won't take the car back and reward me for paying better than most of their customers!!! I have been w/ US Auto for about 6 years now. My first car w/ them had to have the transmission replaced within the first month of me getting it. Then the engine had to be replaced when I was 6 months away from paying it off. They added the service fees to the end of my contract which added another year of payments. When I finally paid it off 6 months later it broke down & I had to use it as a trade in. They gave me a credit of 2,000 (they were only going to give me 1,000) after I paid them almost 20,000 after all of the interest. I am now in a Nissan Sentra that they told me was my only option even though I didn't like it and now 5 months later they are telling me that the cadillac converter and my engine needs to be replaced. They told me these things are not covered under warranty and I will be paying out of pocket.There are other things wrong with the car as well, but they didn't even get to tell me everything b/c I was so upset. I drove over an hour to get to the service center & over the phone they told me I was still in warranty. I waited for 3 hours w/out any word so I went to check myself, and was told there was a problem. I have had 4 cars with this company, and given them thousands of dollars. I am taking my $450 a month to someone who will treat me with respect and take care of my issues as a customer. Every car I have had with them has had problems within the first 6 mos. Only one time was it under warranty to have it fixed and I had to pay a $100 deductible. read more
