The two most important things to know is that the car seat installation is free and you need to call to make an appointment. You can install the car seat yourself ahead of time and then have them check or have assistance from start to finish. When you arrive try to park in a spot where no one is next to the side of the car that you want the car seat installed on. What I appreciated the most as a first time Mom is that this wasn't just a car seat install. There was so much helpful and important information shared with me that I wouldn't have gotten had I decided to install on my own. Plus, most car seat installations are not correct so this gives me such a piece of mind to know that my baby will be safe.

A few years ago, I applied for their Youth Internship Program, and got more out of it than a paid summer job. CRF not only focuses on providing job/program-specific experience to students who otherwise would not have the opportunity, but pours their resources into developing teens who are aware of social conditions and political matters on both a local and national level. In the couple of months I was a part of CRF, I was able to witness the staff's dedication. They went a way's length to create interactive educational workshops, city excursions, and appointments with policymakers, so that we could not only engage with the issues-at-hand, but have a voice in them. Ah, I have so much appreciation for this place, and the dedication they have in staying true to their vision.

This was my first time here. Beautiful building with a fresh look of newness. A good sized space after stepping inside, but seemingly in need of more volumes. As my wife made her way to the service desk, I began scanning the various shelves. I'll usually randomly browse through various non-fiction aisles until I find my favored sections. And as my wife found me, with her arms already loaded down with numerous children's storybooks, we made our way back to the checkout counter. Then exiting with me now carrying half of those books. We'll be helping with our grandson's early learning right away. Reading to them should begin even while they're still in the womb.
